Overview
The admission process for college is relatively straightforward. We have to submit an application form, transcripts of all previous academic work, a copy of the PTE test & a copy of the passport and visa application form. I have an admission with the help of the consultant agency CanDream Consulting and Coaching.
Campus Life
Campus life is impressive there are over 100 clubs and societies of sports and cultural organizations. There is a large number of Indian students and Indian clubs and societies there, This made it easy to adjust to life in Canada and to make new friends. For sports, there is a modern facility with a gymnasium, fitness centre, swimming pool and indoor running track etc. The name of the campus fest is Welcome Week, Fall Fest, Winter Fest, and Spring Fling.

- The location enticed me. The reviews and the alumni of the college really appreciated it. The reviews of the faculty also encouraged me to choose this college.
- The best thing about Durham College is its readily available help resources. We have SALS for resume, GET HIRED for helping to find part time and full time job roles. The best thing about Durham is it provides you with DRT (Durham Transit Pass) which most of the colleges or universities does not offer.
- DRT allows you to use the transit which covers 7 regions across going as far as Ajax and Uxbridge. The faculty at Durham has practical experience and has hands on knowledge about what they are teaching. They are also ready to help apart from the schooling hours. Durham also provides for extra classes and is always ready to help. It also celebrated multi- cultural festivals like Holi which felt very inclusive and friendly. The Campus is enormous and beautiful. It has a trail at the back of the college too.
Dislikes
- There is nothing to dislike about the College. The college is so big that it takes time to figure out where are the classes and to reach the classes as well but the time tables are made as such that they give time to reach to different classrooms.

- Durham College is a well-known university that offers great programs for both local and international students.
- Durham College is known for its student diversity and inclusion. The teachers are friendly and deliver courses with personalized attention. The course modules are well-structured and cater to the individual needs of students.
Dislikes
- Durham College offers almost zero placements when it comes to landing jobs after graduation. Thus, students have a hard time finding relevant jobs once passing out. I personally think the college has a lot to work on when it comes to student job support.
Overview
My experience at Durham College was pretty great. The teachers were friendly and the courses were well-designed to allow us to learn about each and every aspect of Digital Media Management. We had students from different countries which added to the diversity. Overall, I would recommend future students to definitely check out Durham College if they are considering Canada as their study destination.
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty exciting. The college offers a gymnasium for students, along with a health club and medical check-ups from time to time. They also have a huge library where students can get access to learning resources.
Overview
The period I was applying to study abroad was too late for the specific intake and Durham College was still accepting students so I applied here.
Fees
For me as an international student, it was somewhere between $7000 to $8000 for each semester and I had 4 semesters in my program.
Overview
I had done my Bachelors in the field, other colleges were not providing a three-year course for the program. Having good theoretical knowledge in this field, wanted to get more hands-on practice, which this college was providing. Most importantly they were providing placement options last year, which would give me a broader vision of whether I could survive in this field for the next 20-25 years of my life.
Fees
14867 Per year
Overview
I did my bachelors in computer science engineering and ever since I have worked as a Business Analyst. I chose this program to further my knowledge of Analytics and Data. It is a vast field and is highly in demand. I chose to come to Canada as the country is very accepting of immigrants like myself. I love how every festival or event is celebrated here as well. The reason why I chose Durham college was that it was the only college which offered me the course I was looking for.
Fees
I was awarded a scholarship based on my IELTS score. The award structure is $500 for 6.5 scores, $1000 for 7.5 and $1500 for 8.5 and above. I had paid for my entire tuition fee for the program as it was required for my visa. For people who cannot afford to pay the fees all at once, it can be paid in instalments. I had paid $150000 at once.
Overview
When I searched for a new course and college, it was one of my friend in Canada suggested Durham college. So I choose Durham college and also I checked the ranking of Durham college in Canada educational institutions ranking. And I enquire about the college details to my other friends in Canada also.
Fees
My tution fee is approximately $ 15,789 per year. I dont have any scholarships. We can pay fees by sem wise and instalment wise also. They break the entire fee into half and we have to pay it by sem wise. So it is somewhat easy for the students to pay the fees but it is a huge amount compared to domestic students fees.
Overview
I heard that you will get exposure to this college. I have applied to York and Ryerson university but I got rejected. I had offers from Seneca college and Durham college. I chose Durham college because the course curriculum was good. Getting good faculty matters a lot.
Fees
The fees for this program is 16000 which you can opt to give in 3 instalments. They provide scholarships too on the basis of how much you scored in your IELTS test. If you get 8 in IELTS, you will get $1000 off, if you get 7.5 then you will get $500. So, I would suggest you do some preparation before your exam.
Overview
I love to get this programme and I have heard before from my friends that this college is good for study. I have applied in two colleges one is in Hamilton and one here in Durham college. I got the offer letter for Mohawk college but I was waiting for getting an offer letter for this college because that's my dream to study at this college.
Fees
The basic fee structure is 15000-20000 $vper year. But our college providing us scholarship like 500$,1000$ for good ielts score. They are providing 500$ for 6.5 bands in IELTS. I don't have any loan here in canada. But my friend get scholarship for 500$ as she got 6.5 bands. So she has to pay 500$ less in her fees.
