What students say about Fleming College
Likes
- I found my course easy and interesting because I completed my B.com in India, where the study was much easier compared to what it used to be.
- My course includes an internship, and my college helps us find a perfect match for it. As our faculty knows our weaknesses and stronger points, they suggest different fields.
- I learned a lot in campus activities such as leadership, creativity, and correctly executing visualizations.
- That is 10-20 minutes far from college, but the bus service is good, so we can manage it easily to come to college and go back home.
- My total fees were $18,983 (for 2 semesters), which my great father has already paid from India as we have to pay one years fees now.
- Most of my colleagues in the faculty are helpful, knowledgeable, and educated. They also have a nice nature.
- The way of teaching really matters when you are by yourself in a new place, and Fleming College proved to be an ideal place to study at.
Dislike
- They have library Wi-Fi, but there are no sports facilities because the campus in Toronto is really small

Overview:
SOP and CV, there were no interviews but only application form and my meeting the requirements of the program. It’s proximity to main city, the program length and the curriculum. I would say it was okay. Not that great but not bad either. It was hard to make friends with other cultures. It seemed bit off and didn’t find many friendly ppl except your own. It was hard to trust ppl as everyone was just after getting reference or help for jobs /money.
Fees:
It was about 8k per semester and I had about 3 semesters. On top of it were the books and your daily cost of living. The third semester fee was same for other two despite of us being on full time co-op i.e field placement.
- Likes:
- It is very well reputed college in the field of project management and gives practical knowledge of the field.,
- Quality of education is phenomenal as well as applicable in industrial environment. Professors have previously served as project managers in various industries which provide students in depth knowledge and applications of strategies in real world.
- Dislikes:
- Tight deadlines on submissions makes it difficult for students to meet the deadlines along with part time jobs. Moreover, in person lectures are better than online lectures as it helps to interact with classmates and professor in person.
Fees:
193000 Canadian dollars for international students.
Campus Life:
Campus life is amazing as they always celebrate all the festivals and arrange events every now and then.
- Likes:
- I like the overall Canadian education system and the way this college treats their international students. I liked Canadian culture, student life and especially the location (Peterborough), as it is one of the most scenic and beautiful town in Ontario province. The social life, insurances, accommodation and services are quite affordable there as compared to other cities. Honestly, my college was best to have an international student experience in a different country as it taught me a lot of things that I would not have learnt if was living in a place where all Indian community is present like Brampton etc.,
- Mainly because I am an Architect from India and wanted to establish my own designing firm. So I decided to persue a PG diploma in Project Management that would enable me to start and complete a project on time and in budget. It is an important skill to lean, how to manage your project. Also I wanted to be in a college, where i could experience international zone and Canadian culture and education system that would allow me to jelup in the community. So that was the main reason why I chose this course and mainly this college.
- Dislikes:
- What I dont like about this college is the strict and zero tolerance environment. You cant really do one single mistake which will affect your grades and overall performance. One more thing that I did not liked is the number of homeless people wandering every time on the streets that sometimes make it difficult for the student to travel and engage with any kind of job. I too have many experiences that i would like to share personally later on.
Overview:
As I already mentioned, The campus life was full of creativity, enthusiasm and open mindset students. I learned a lot in campus activities like leadership, creativity and right execution of visualizations. Though I never had group of friends in the college as from the starting I am always independent and self learning person (no showoff), but I always enjoyed my company and learned a lot from experienced people and also I never had a second thought of connecting with different people and creating networks in college and on my jobs.
Fees:
My total fees was $18,983 (for 2 semesters), that my great father already paid from India as we have to pay one year fees now. The fee included all the facilities like free gym, fun zones, bus pass, activities areas, access to library, medical insurance (that I later used to get my filing done, gosh it was nightmare). The fees for other 2 semester (Canadore College) I paid myself with smart investments, side gigs and savings.
- Likes:
- This is College was nearest to my location, so I chose this college after coming to Canada and left the previous college.
Overview:
The college is very helpful to students and address your concerns very well. My overall experience with a College was good.
Fees:
17000$ for one year.

- This college had the program supply chain management which was of my interest and this is a very reputed college, therefore I chose Fleming College.,
- The college was very friendly and it had the most amazing and beautiful campus.,
- The faculty is great, experts in their fields and supportive. Fleming College is located in Peterborough, Ontario and it is a very small town.,
- Therefore, the house rents are low and travel is cheap. Fleming College provides us with a free bus pass so that it becomes easy for the students to travel.
- Dislikes:
- It should give more campus jobs. Since Peterborough is a small town, the part time jobs that students apply for takes some time. If students had more and more jobs in campus it would be really easy for the students to look for a job.
Overview:
Well to start with I must say that when I first saw the campus infrastructure I was mesmerized. It has a huge campus which included two football grounds, sports and wellness centre and academic buildings. It also includes a large cafeteria and a pub called "Steele Center".
Fees:
Around $17,000 CAD.
Overview:
Fleming is an amazing college. I heard about it from my friend and read it on the internet about its rankings.
Fees:
CAD $18500
Overview:
I chose this university because of the curriculum and they also provide 4 months field internship.
Fees:
Around $50,000. With college fees and GIC. To be noted: The fee structure changes from time to time, so do not take this figure as an ultimatum.
Overview:
I chose this college as it was in a small town and away from the main city. The studies were professional and the professors had ample experience. The way of teaching really matters when you are by yourself in a new place and Fleming College proved to be an ideal place to study at.
Fees:
$36,000 CAD is the program fee.
Overview:
I chose my college as my consultant suggested to me this college because of its good reputation and the availability of the program and high chances of visa.
Fees:
$7800 per semester
Overview:
I choose this college because after completing my pharmacy I realized that biotechnology is my favourite subject amongst all and I want to do specialization in it. I applied in loyalist, Centennial, Seneca, and Fleming and found that among all Fleming has the best biotechnology course. It has a forensic biotechnology and internship program which will give the experience of the real world.
Fees:
Fees for international students are around $9500 per semester and internship costs around $4000 and there is international students scholarship if you score above 3.5 GPA. That is only for international students. They also have some other scholarships for local people. The money you will get on scholarship ranges from $500 to $2000.
