Genetics Programs at Michigan State University

The genomics and molecular genetics programs at Michigan State University are designed to provide a broad foundation in science, with an emphasis on genomics and molecular genetics. Although the majority of the course work is prescribed, students can tailor their degree program to their own interests within the field from a slate of options. The approximately 100 faculty members in the Genetics Program have academic appointments in 24 different departments or affiliated institutions.
