Founded in 1993, it has collaborations with various world famous organizations like UNICEF, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNDPI, UNSSC, UNDP, UN Women, etc. Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences offers 6 courses at UG and PG level with various specializations to choose from and is located in Bhubaneswar, Orissa.

The candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (ST) category and have completed 10+2 from Odisha Board or any other recognized board are eligible to apply.
For being eligible to B.Sc, they should have opted Science stream in 10+2 and for B.Com, they should have taken Economics/Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2.
They must have obtained at least 35% aggregate marks or C+ grade.
The selection of candidates is done based on the marks scored in 10+2 examinations.
There is no entrance test for the students for admission to UG courses and seats are allotted according to the first come –first serve basis.

The infrastructure of the college is beautiful.
There is a beautiful garden in the campus.

Dislikes

The mess food is not good and can be improved.

Admission:

The eligibility for the course is a minimum of 60% on the 12th and a minimum of 60% on the 10th. You can apply for this course in the month of April. You can apply for this course online. The admission process is good and well-maintained.

The faculties are well qualified and guide for the future.
The college infrastructure is good and beautiful.

Dislikes

The college campus is very big and widely.
There is no indoor game facility for the students.

Admission:

I did my Bachelors in Political Science from Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences as well. But for the PG courses, since the seats are less, an entrance exam is conducted. Whoever can ace the exam is selected for the PG degree.
