About Udayanath College of Science and Technology
Udayanath College of Science and Technology (UCST) is a private (autonomous) college, established in the year 1987 with a strong determination at the intermediate level to impart modern education in Science, Commerce and Arts streams. Udayanath College of Science and Technology has gained its name to be termed as a standard institution in the locality within a span of 25 years. The college is duly recognized by UGC under section 2(f) of UGC Act and affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar and CHSE, Odisha. The college offers Honors teaching in 19 subjects and it is the only college in the state having the teaching department of Women’s Studies Honors in Arts. Admission:
I went to this college on my brother's reference. And it is my local college so it is very easy for transportation on bus. No i don't get any rejection from any college. The admission process is like that first you go to the saams lrotal and apply for seat selection of this college then you come to college for admission .

- I appreciated about the steadiness and sincerely working teachers in my zoology department.
- I really liked the library and cafeteria of the college. They are really helpful. The cafeteria actually has good food , more than I expected.
Dislikes
- I don't mean to degrade any teachers, but except few teachers ,I think are pretty harsh to newly admitted or first year students.
- In my zoology department, they are less cooperative to students who don't know about rules and regulations of the college and about the ug courses, exam pattern etc.
Admission:
I applied for Niali college, Adaspur college and nimapara college. I was confirmed admission in both niali and Adaspur but I heard about Udayanath college that their Ug course is very good and lots of students come from afar to take admission in this college. So opted for admission in this college. I was rejected by the Nimapara autonomous college because their minimum cut off mark was higher than my plus 2 results. The admission process is pretty simple. They will give you the intimation letter. Along with that you will need other essential documents like 12th certificate, 10th certificate, e adhaar etc and also the admission fee which 14000 in my time.

- There is a big library for us for gain some extra knowledge

- The autonomous staff of science block are not punctual
- There is some technical issue in science block room

There are limited seats in our college.they choose students from their mark basics. There are more than 8 department of study facilities in college. I got admission by ofline basics. Every body can apply their admission both by online and offline.

- It provides me best environment to improve my skills.
- The teaching staffs help me to improve my knowledge

- The sports things are not so developed to play freely.
- The class time table schedule is not in a order.

12th marksheet is more important to addmission in this course. SAMS website is conduct admission process. First choose the college, then according to elligibility college shows numbers of sits. Then admission fees is paid online.

- Exams are very frequent both mid semester and end semester.
- This college fee is at the higher level in comparison of other government colleges.

I didn't given an entrance exam to admit in this college it was totally merit basis 12th grade and I only applied in SAMS portal after that I got selected in this college. Yes SAMS has some reservations for sc /st/ obc/ ex-servicemen /ncc etc.

The admission process of our college is very good.To study in this college i was not attend any entrance exam. I am study now in B.sc .The eligibility of this course is passed in +2 exam. The application fee of our college is 15000.

Admission process was very good as the staff were very cooperative and helpful. But the admission fees was Little high for me. The good point is that here there is no entrance exam for admission you will get your admission by your persentage. Which help me a lot to get a admission here.

When i admitted to this college first of all i saw campus it is really very good.All college staffs are very friendly both teaching and non teaching.Science laboratory equipments are poor but all classroom teachers are very good.

The admissions in this college is done on first come first get basis for UG courses. Whereas, for PG courses like MA and M.Com. are selected with the entrance examination and merit based followed by the interview/Group Discussion.
