Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the courses is comprehensive, detailed, in the scope of the level of study, includes relevant projects and practical approach. Improvements can be in decreasing the number of courses that have associated projects with it as it is of not that importance for minor courses or theory based courses. Frequency of exams is fine per semester - CAT 1, CAT 2, Finals (CATs serve as a mid-term divided into two exams)

Internships Opportunities :

Companies: Deloitte, Zen Trades, Oppo, TVS, AMD, Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart and many more - SUPER DREAM (9+ LPA) Most Common Super Dream Package - 10 to 11 LPA Most Common Dream Package - 6-7 LPA Roles: Business Development Executives, Sales Manager, SDE, Data Analyst etc

Placement Experience :

Placements: July to May Companies type - Super Dream (9+ LPA), Dream (6-9 LPA), Regular (less than 6 LPA) Offers - Full-time, intership-cum Full time, interships Average: 7-8 LPA Highest Package 2023-24 - 90+ LPA 2023 to 24 placements are around 75-80 % comparatively less than previous years

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution Fee structure for B. Tech CSE (AI and ML): 1.90 L per year 3.04 L per year Scholarships are provided to those with excellent academic records - Transfer Programs (Abroad) Department / Specialization change etc

Campus Life :

VIT - Chennai Festivals: TechnoVIT - Technical fest: Demos, clubs, collabs etc mostly from engineering Vibrance - Cultural Fest: Clubs events, Dances, performaces by Singers etc throughout a span of 3 - 4 days in general

Admission :

VITEEE is the yearly entrance exam for admission in VIT. MCQs mainly - no negative marking. Frequency - Every Year (April) Difficulty Level - Moderate Improvements - possible inclusion of JEE scores as well in the admission process

Faculty :

Faculty-to-student ratio: 1:60 Faculty's credentials (in general): Masters or PhD in respective domains, problem solving approach in fine in general Interaction with teachers is decent - emails, phone, physical visits etc

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students become eligible for campus drive. The companies are like TCS, COGNIZANT etc. The highest package is 4.5 lac/annum is offered by TCS. The percentage of students is above 80. My plan is going to be a good employee in a good company.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, WIPRO, BPO COMPANIES, and many more top companies come. Highest package is 3-4 LPA and average 1.5 -2-5 LPA as per companies come. 70 to 90% students getting placements. To be successful is my carrier is my plan after getting the degree.
