The real truth about PES

The lab facilites and the constant upgrade in the syllabus to be upto date with the current market trend is one of the best part of the college. The faculties are determined to teach and they are very encouraging and well prepared before each class.
The hackathons and competitions. The clubs in the college constantly almost every 14 days once conduct regular hackathons and competitions for all the students of the college which improve the overall skills of the students.

Dislikes

The fest and college life is little off compared to other colleges in the city. There is no much of cultural events happening in the college. We just two major fests one each semester and few small events.
There is no night canteen for hostel students and there is no campus life as such as it is situated in one of the most happeneing cities of the country.

Placement Experience:

The students in our college are eligible for internship placements from semester 6 and campus full time placements from semester 7. Our college will not function as any other college in 4th year as it is only internships and capstones. Our college gets visited from top companies like Google, microsoft, Atlassian, jp morgan, morgan chase, Goldman and many more .Overall 240 companies visit our college and over 1200+ offers are made. The highest package was above 60 lpa ctc and lowest was 3.5. median and average stood at 11 and 12 lac ctc respectively. Almost 85% of the students get placed rougly 1200 among 1400-1500.There are many people who opt for masters after their undergraduate and some even opt for research.We even have GRE and GMAT coaching given specially in college. My plans is to go for Masters maybe directly or after working 3-4 years after my graduation.

The infrastructure here is very good.lab equipment and everything is good
Good security is provided .there is no ragging

Dislikes

Hostel food is not upto the mark.frequent illness is caused due to food
The class timings are changed frequently which makes it difficult for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is cse .here they give more importantance on hands-on session which makes students perfect and ready for real world challenges in coding.they teaching speed is a bit fast difficult for some students to concentrate.every 2 months Internals are conducted

Campus is huge compared other colleges in Bengaluru.
Lecturers are good, well qualified and most of them know what they are doing.

Dislikes

College's location. It is located in Ecity.
College can be a bit hectic at times, but manageable.

Placement Experience:

As per my knowledge the placement is quite fine in this college. Many companies have visited the college for placement for more information you can check the reddit page of the college. I plan on doing a job after my college.

Teachers are good , the scope for different coding platforms is more.
The fests and extra curricular activities are given importance.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies like Google and Microsoft have come for the placements. Most students receive a package of 2 lpa to 20 lpa. After getting my degree plan is to work for a while and then apply for further studies.

i like the campus life, as there are a lot of things to do, whether its studies related or food related.
the teachers here are good, they're knowledgable.

Placement Experience:

we become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. over 200 companies visit the campus for placements. the highest package a student has received is 1.3cr. 100% of the students get placements.

Campus facilities and hostel facilities especially if u get KCET seat then definitely worth it
Quality of people coming here as this is a well situated college u will expect such standards over here

Dislikes

They nearly take 1300 CS students only (combined main and secondary campus)
This campus is in the outskirts of Bangalore ,tbh it does not belong to Bangalore it belongs to a new region called Electronic city

Placement Experience:

From 3rd sem u will get internships and also the first company to hire will also enter the campus. A lot of good companies like Cognizant, tata, and Microsoft come here and they have good offers also, the highest in 2022 was about 58 LPA, and AVG CTC is around 10 to 9lpa. A quiet good percentage of people get hired this is what is the advantage of this college and the city it is in i.e. Bangalore I am still in 1st year so I wouldn't know the exact numbers. I still don't have any plans for further studies though it might change after some time, especially after the end of the course.

The nature was very good everyone are friendly.
It has many canteens and many varieties are made at low prices.

Dislikes

The college timings are bad college starts at 8 15 am.
College has only one fest called maya.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the software so I have chosen this course. The faculty are very close and friendly. They teach until everyone understands. 90% of the faculty are Ph.D. professors. My course has 8 sem Each sem VL be having 5 Isa and 1 ESA. Isa is computerized exams. Only multiple questions. It was very easy to write.

I liked stationary inside college itself.
The canteen also inside the college.

Dislikes

Online class that was doing saturday 1 hour
There is no other things that I didn't liked.

Placement Experience:

I don't have that much idea about placements. Placements will happen in the PES RR campus for all of the students. I think it is 100% placements. The highest package will be on average 50 lakh/year.

Students are eligible to sit for placements after the sixth semester. The highest package offered in the year 2023 is 80.3 Lakhs per annum. The average is around 17 lakhs per annum. Around sixty percent of students get placed.

The overall experience at pes was good, the thing I liked about this campus is the campus itself, the campus is pretty good and the infrastructure aswell. The placement opportunities in pes is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

CSE is the main and ongoing course that has a high demand and is advantageous in many ways. The CSE branch faculty in our college is excellent, they are all PhDs with great knowledge, the faculties are good and in interactive and help you with any related problems or queries. I found the teaching method to be pretty effective, they try to complete the syllabus in an easy manner and explain all the given points. So the teaching method according to me is a really good part. The exams are also frequent and help us to test our learning really well.
