Good environment along with natural beauty
Hostel rooms are quite good and spacious

Placement Experience:

After the 3rd year, you are pretty much eligible for placements or at least after 6th sem. A lot of companies visit every year including Myntra, Microsoft, Atlassian, Flipkart, etc. The highest package in 2024 is 80 lpa and the average is 15 lpa with a median salary of 13 lpa for CSE. For ECE the average package was 14 lpa and the median was 12 lpa. 93 out of 134 students got placed in CSE The placement percentage for ECE is pretty low as most of them go for higher studies.

this is one of the IIIT having its own campus
Our campus is getting better like sports facilities ,gym etc

Dislikes

campus is in improving phase and institute mainly focus on studies
campus is far away from the guwahati city

Placement Experience:

The placements are good as many students are getting placements and with an average package of 12 lpa, if a student is not getting an on-campus placement, he or she applies for the off-campus placements where he also has many benefits.

Quality Education: IIIT Guwahati offers a strong curriculum in information technology and allied disciplines, ensuring students receive a solid foundation in their chosen fields.
Faculty: The institute boasts a team of qualified and experienced faculty members who are dedicated to providing high-quality education and guidance to students.

Dislikes

Mess food is so disappointing and unhealthy especially breakfast. They give bread butter jam or pasta or anything useless except healthy food

Placement Experience:

Our college placements are quite good. Average package offered is 12-13 lpa and students are eligible to sit in placements in start of 4th year meanwhile one can do internships in companies starting from 3rd year Placement ratio on an average is 95%+ Highest package offered till now is 1Cr off campus and around 80 lpa on campus

coding culture in this college is quite good, lot of research opportunities in ECE department there are many labs and with supportive faculty
the location of this college is quite good like this surrounding the environment

Dislikes

the campus life is mid , I would say but it will definitely better in upcoming years
they are only two branches for engineering

Placement Experience:

the average placement package in our college is of 11 lpa considering both ECE and CSE department but individual CSE department has quite good package like the average packages for CSE department is 16 lpa and and that for ECE department is 8 lpa. they are internship opportunity too in this college.

No proper hospital facilities nearby incase of immediate medication ambulance is present

Placement Experience:

Students get eligible for placements from 6 th semester and a lot of companies visit our campus such as microsoft ,ibm ,Wipro and many other companies the highest package offered is 1.2 crore and average is around 15 lpa which is quite decent and almost 90% students get placed

No hospital facility nearby need to go by 3 km for emergency needs

From 6th semester students get eligible for placements and no of companies like Accenture and Walmart and Amazon visit our campus the average package offered is 17.2 lakh and highest package is 1.2 crore almost 94 percentage people get placed

There is no hospital and dctor facility nearby

Students eligible for the placements from the 6th semester Flipkart Walmart Amazon extension Microsoft Office campus providing stipend for the students, the highest package offered is 1.2 crore package offers on 17 lakh almost around 92% of the people get placed

The curriculum here is very robust and industry oriented. Even the curriculum of IITs aren't as good

Dislikes

The campus is very small so you won't be getting that Karan Johar college experience
The faculty are highly qualified but are not good "teachers" if you know what I mean.

Placement Experience:

I am currently in 1st year right now so I'm not placed yet. But the 2023 graduated batch had great placements keeping in mind the recession. Almost all students get placed in cse branch while in ece it's around 85%. This is because many students go for mtech and other higher studies or prepare for a govt job

Likes

Location of campus is pretty good and is out of city area.
Senior intraction is good in this college.

Dislikes

Campus is still under development and has not sufficient facilities.
Campus area is not much explorable due to too much grass and water.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty-student ratio is pretty good in this college and our director sir has told us that we want to maintain such a ratio in future as well. Faculties are well qualified and have PhDs from IIT and iisc.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good enough there are some major companies visiting colleges like tekion, amazon, and Microsoft with cse avg of 22 lpa and ecw avg package of 12lpa. The companies recruit from 4th-year 1st sem.
