The area and surrounding of UPES is the best because it is situated in Dehradun.
Food court : It's the best place to hangout with friends.

Dislikes

The one thing I hate is the unnecessary events happening everytime.
Whether condition is very poor and it creates a lot of problem to travel

Some Faculties here are very cooperative and some teach for knowledge rather than just the degree
If you are interested in gaming and graphics for BTech in case then this is one of the best college for you

Dislikes

This college will not spoon feed you, if have to push yourself a bit
The location of this college is too interior that travelling becomes difficult if you're staying off campus

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered by the college and it's decent but I'll not say it's great tho. Although this college claims for 100 percent placement but most of them picked up by the mass recruiters. I mean ya big companies like Microsoft, Accenture, Adobe, etc visit these colleges but they barely pick anyone.

I really like the supportive faculty that is offered by the college
Very good location, calm and helps you focus on studies more

Course Curriculum Overview:

At upes, you can choose a minor to graduate in along with the major which is a very smooth process so in the end you can not hold just 1 degree but 2 of them. There are many extra activities like trekking and sports to participate in that focus on maintaining the physical health of the students.

College has a really good faculty. Most of the faculty is helpful except some. College is at a very wonderful place with fresh air and beauty all around
College infrastructure is good enough. College has multiple things like cricket ground , basketball courts and volleyball courts which are well maintained with all the required equipments.

Dislikes

The hostel infrastructure is not really good and there service is also questionable
Authority some time make bad choice regarding exam dates and syallabus, specially the time for exams to take place they really need to think for there students and the course completion time

Placement Experience:

Placement is good but for the last 2 years, there has been a lot of difficulty in grabbing good packages for the students because of the lack of companies coming to the college. The percentage of students getting placed is good but the average package they are getting is a bit of a tension for the upcoming batches. But for the same college has brought up new companies for the betterment of the student's career. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, AWS, etc. come visit the college. Highest ever in campus packege is 50 lakhs.

Placement ratio is quite satisfied and it depends on the result of your hardwork and dedication.. College provides you with good companies and package it just depends on your performance...the highest package was of 50 lakh per annum and the average is different based on the course

Likes

The campus is very good and airy as well as the atmosphere around is very good.
The faculty is very nice and helpful and I like many teachers here ...they help the students in many ways.

Dislikes

The fees here is very high and many people are not able to afford it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become an engineer and dreamt of it ...the reason being I chose to pursue btech from computer science The fees should be a little less and reduction in student capacity because many undeserving students also hold seats instead of some deserving people. The frequency and timing of exams is quite good and acceptable.

The infrastructure is very good. The environment is very clean and hygienic.
The university is very strict against ragging .

Dislikes

The management is very poor, and not good.
Some of the subjects are not relevant in the curriculum.

Placement Experience:

The placements are not bad but not too good. The average package fluctuates every year between 6 and 7 Lakh per annum. The highest package is 50L that a student got from Microsoft. Students mostly go for higher education.
