Likes
- The faculty is very helpful and active, with great professionalism, the way of teaching is very understandable if any doubts, they are always available to clear it without any problem.
- Infrastructure is so awesome the views at the campus are the best and you will fall in love with each and every corner of campus
- Also i liked the placements of the college that they provide the placements to the students in best companies and for the good job role as well.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are pathetic fungus in washroom mess too far away food is not upto the mark cost : 120000/ annum faculty is not quite responsive facilities not provided as promised everything is delayed
- The hostel mess food is also not good for the students
- The classes are held at different locations which really make us tired as we have to walk a lot to take another class

- Missing classes due to internship or project can lead to academic penalties.
- The campus size is smaller compared to other universities, limiting outdoors sports and recreational spaces.

If you are in second semester of MCA you become eligible for placement drive.
TCS, Accenture,Infosys also visited in campus.
32LPA highest this year in VISA. Average package is 3.2LPA.

- Great cultural opportunities, if you are active in cultural activities, graphic era provides a lot of chances to showcase your talent and give you a good stage
- Graphic Era provides bus facility that runs over every corner of the city, so it makes easy for the students to come college even if they resides at a far distance from the college
- The main highlight of the college is their annual fest, Graphic Era spends a good amount of money to make their fest successful and enjoyable
Dislikes
- Not so good facilities, some of the faculties are just awesome and chill but still there lacks a lot teaching issues with the faculties over there
- Not so good infrastructure as compared to their main campus that is graphic era deemed
- Not so good cafeteria, the food just tastes average with high costs
Placement Experience:
Placements are decent in Graphic Era but fue to recession tis year and last year the placements have not been that much good.
Various companies like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, rughtwave, Infosys, jman group etc came this year fir campus hiring.
The highest package in my course i had hear is of i think 9 lpa.
Various profiles like Associate Software Engineer and software trainee etc were being offered.
Roughly around 40-50% students got placed.

- The faculties are highly qualified and the course curriculum is best in comparison of other colleges in the town
- The placement guidance and support is very much as teacher make us aware of every things that will happen in the on going process and make us confident to face the interviews by taking placement classes
- The lab facilities and support from faculties to enhance our skills is very high

- The entry in the class is prohibited once the teachers enters the class we have to present in the class before the teacher arrives
- We have to be in proper uniform on uniform days or else we are not allowed to enter the campus gate until and unless it is necessary
Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for placement in the last year including the eligibility criteria sent by the company.
Many companies are visiting the campus like infosys, Accenture, tcs, adobe, google, Volvo, etc
The highest package was 85 lakhs for the year 2023-24.
60% of students get placed approximately.

- The best thing i like about the college is its campus and the environment inside the campus.
- Second thing i liked about college is its bus service, they have more than 100 buses which run all over dehradun.
- Third thing i like about it is its fest known as grafest and its literally crazy . It is the best fest in the town.
Dislikes
- The thing that I dont like about this college is its management the don't have good management. In my first year there were know proper classes to sit they change the classes daily we have to move from one place to another to take classes.
- Teachers here also are not good, they were just doing formalities they come to class and just talk. Whenever we ask for help, there answer was always no.
- The classrooms were also not good some ceiling fan works amd some not. In summers sitting in class is literally difficult.
Placement Experience:
For MCA you are eligible from 4th sem for the placements. Accenture, capgemini, infosys etc MNCs visits campus accenture hired around 180 candidates and infosys hired 9-10 candidates. Highest placement is 80lpa and average placement is 3-4lpa. Around 20% students are placed till now. Plans after getting degree is to work on good mnc.

- The strictly prohibited raging.A strict focus on studies.A time to time management of all things like conducting exams, seminar etc.
- I also like their infrastructure, library too.
- All the faculty staff having such a nice behaviour.
Dislikes
- The 75% attendance criteria such a very hardly disappointing decision of them.
- The timings of staring a classes that is from 8 Am to 5 Pm.
- And bus timming also. If anyone becomes free in kuch break so the buses will not go fro them.

As I am in my second semester so I can not say anything about it. But till now many of students gets placed in good companies with a good package. The students becomes eligible for the placement in their second last semester. Till now rubico, Amazon, Microsoft,TCS,Wipro, Infosys etc companies visited in your college.the highest package was around 1 LPA/month of for the year 2023.

- Faculty of our department is what i liked most in the college

- college timming has now become pretty bad from 8A.M to 4.30 P.M , which make it a very tiring day

College provides placements to students , many companies like zscaler, accenture , datainsights,tcs and others come to college for placements, and it's upto you how you prepare for that , rest you can apply for off campus for placements.
I dont know exat ratio of placement in the college but yeah it provides opportunities.

What is your review of Graphic Era University?

Here is a brief review of Graphic Era University.
- The college infrastructure is average. The sports facilities are not good.
- The faculties have good educational backgrounds. But most of the faculty members don’t put in the required effort.
- The hostel accommodation is decent. The food offered at the mess is decent.
- The CS department has good placement records. Around 80% of students get placed from this branch. The average CTC offered at the institute is INR 5 LPA. But for other branches, placement chances are less than 20%.
- Graphic Era charges huge fees. A BTech degree costs around INR INR 13.32 Lakhs.
Overall, Graphic Era University is average at best.
