- Great cultural opportunities, if you are active in cultural activities, graphic era provides a lot of chances to showcase your talent and give you a good stage
- Graphic Era provides bus facility that runs over every corner of the city, so it makes easy for the students to come college even if they resides at a far distance from the college
Dislikes
- Not so good facilities, some of the faculties are just awesome and chill but still there lacks a lot teaching issues with the faculties over there
- Not so good infrastructure as compared to their main campus that is graphic era deemed
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is just average, the same old fashioned courses are being taught with just a little bit of changes made every year, the main motive lies only making students to score good in the semester exams rather then Making them industry ready.
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent in Graphic Era but fue to recession tis year and last year the placements have not been that much good. Various companies like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, rughtwave, Infosys, jman group etc came this year fir campus hiring. The highest package in my course i had hear is of i think 9 lpa. Various profiles like Associate Software Engineer and software trainee etc were being offered. Roughly around 40-50% students got placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The detailed fee structure totally depends on the scholarships that are provided by the college. The actual fee for per sem costs around 80k-90k but as per graphic era hill University if you're from uttarakhand i.e. if you have a domicile of uttarakhand you're eligible for 25% scholarship for that. Not only this if you have scored good marks in your graduation then also there exits some scholarship, in my case i got around 12k scholarship because of 83% on my graduation. Apart from these if you had an elder siblings who had studied from the same university you get 5% scholarship, if you had done bachelor's from the same university you get 10% loyalty bonus etc.
Campus Life :
Campus life was just an average for me as i had done my bachelor's from this same university, the main key point of enjoyment the college provides is the annual fest Grapfest, where the college spends good sum of money to make it successful, various big celebs take part in this fest. Library is also pretty decent in Graphic Era with almost every book you can find regarding your course though i have not issued any book during my masters but still the library had decent amount of books regarding all the courses
Admission :
Comparing all other universities nearby my hometown i felt graphic to be more appealing than other because of the good name for the campus placements, graphic has done a good number of placements in previous years comparing to other college. The admission process is simple you just have to look about the guidelines regarding the criteria like the percentage in your 12th if you're opting for bachelor's or your percentage in graduation if you're pursing PG. PG students may neend to give an exam to get admitted, but the exam is very simple and easy to clear.
Faculty :
The course curriculum needed yo be updated time to time, the same course has been taught to students that should be updated and some new subjects that make the students industry ready shoud be taught. Faculties are average with some of them having ego issues if they had a bad talk with a student, then the student is going to face difficulties passing the particular subject
