Jigyasa University (formerly Himgiri Zee University), Dehradun has been established by the Essel Group under The Uttarakhand Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2024 (Uttarakhand Act No. 05 , 2024), recognized by UGC Under Section 2(f) of 1956 Act and Member of Association of Indian Universities.
