Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as
Academic Requirement:
- Candidates who have studied in regular, full time and formal education alone are eligible to apply
- Candidates who have passed XII Board examination or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks and with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply
- Candidates who have passed XII Board examination or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for the following categories:
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST
- Candidates hailing from Jammu & Kashmir / Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
Age Limit:
Candidate should have born on or after 01.07.2001

- I really love the infrastructure and the greenery here.
- The public transport is pretty affordable

- Water is really bad. 750+ TDS. It makes you go bald. Really.
- There are not many fests and events. Less fun.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The VIT Vellore's Bachelor's in Industrial Design course has a good curriculum. It used to be too much theoretical till the last year. But From My year(this year) they changed it. not it's just one theory subject, i.e., Introduction to design. Its prepares us well up to the level of the industry. It can be improved in freehand sketching subject. We haven't had our exams till now so xant really say how difficult they'll be...

Fee Structure And Facilities:
Well, the fee structure is quite expensive. Moreover, VIT is more expensive to live in. Hostel and mess are feasible. But tuition fees being provided according to the VITEEE ranks makes a huge range from 1.72L per year being minimum to around 5-6L per year
