Admission at Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies is done solely on merit basis. However, one must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in a particular course. The total intake of the institute is only 60 students. One can download the admission form from the official website of the college. Candidates must ensure that they attach duly filled application form with an application fee of INR 500.

The college offers scholarships to meritorious and deserving students to help them in pursuing their education. The scholarships are provided through the help of BHS HES. Last year, a total of 8 students were awarded scholarships.

- Canteen: College canteen provides with good quality food. There is a lot of variety in the food menu of the canteen. Students, as well as staff, can avail canteen facilities as per college timings.
- Girls Hostel: The campus includes a girl's hostel for accommodation purposes. This makes it easy for them to attend classes on time as a lot of time is consumed while traveling if one does not reside near the college.
- Spacious Parking Facilities: A parking space is provided in the college campus for parking vehicles. This facility is available for both the students as well as staff.
- Large Play Ground: Students can enjoy any sports in their free lecture as the college provides a large playground for that. Students can also use this ground for various other purposes.
- Seminar Hall: The college also has a seminar hall to conduct various seminars as well as meetings.

Teaching and training in the college are undertaken in accordance with the regulations of the Bar Council of India. The college being affiliated to Karnataka State Law University from the year 2009 follows the syllabus prescribed by this University.

The candidates those who are admitted to the Five Year B.A, LL.B. course shall have to attend 10 Semester courses spread over 5 years. BILS does not offer LLB course.
Admission to BA-LLB course at BILS Bangalore is done based on merit in the last qualifying exam and the annual fee for the same is INR 1.6-1.8 lakhs.
You can apply for admission to BILS Bangalore BA LLB on the basis of scores achieved in the 10+2 class level board examination.
The fee structure of BALLB has not been released by the Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies for 2022-23. It is expected that soon the fee structure will be released on its official website.
