Teachers are quite approachable and professional.
Academics are very good. Syllabus always completed on time.

Dislikes

Cafeteria and canteens not available. Causes boredom at free periods.
Classroom chairs and benches not soo good. 4 hours continuous class is tiring.

Internships Opportunities:

1 month internship is offered during the winter break. Companies such as Alkem pharmaceutical, cipla pharmaceutical, Sun pharma industries offer internship. The industry doesn't pay for the internship. Projects are prepared by the students at the end. To ensure good understanding.

Internships Opportunities:

As a part of the course we had to apply for an internship for 2 months during our winter vacation. The field of internships were to be decided by ourselves and the college provided the incentives for the internship. The companies didn't pay us as it was just for two months and part of the university course.

The most impressive thing in my college I have seen is the teachers. Most of the teachers are yoo much knowledgeable with best teaching skills. They treats all the students like their children. Most of the teachers hold PHD degree .
There are 4 degree courses the college offer ,these are Dpharm , Bpharm ,Mpharm and PHD . The hostel is also very disciplined. There are very cleaned rooms bigger sized rooms with balcony. 4 persons can stay in one room , 1st year to 4th year .

Dislikes

Another thing I have disliked in my college is the outing system. There are particular outing schedule for the boys and girls . Even dates are for boys and odd dates are for girls . And outing time is also too less ,til 6 pm only .

Internships Opportunities:

If any student completes dpharm then he or she has to complete 3 months of hospital training in the hospital pharmacy where the student has to dispense the prescribed medications, inventory control, store management, etc. Then the student has to go for a day industry visit. There is no stipend during the internship. If the student is pursuing Bpharm then he has to go for industrial training, 1 month of hospital training, etc.

The mostly I liked in this college is consistency about studies.
The faculty members are always ready to help you with anything you want

Dislikes

Placement Experience:

While pusuing the course when the students are in their last semester they beccome eligible for the campus placements. Various pharmaceuticals such as Alkem cipla Glenmark Zydus etc offers pleacement to the eligible students with a good package. The average package is 4 to 5 lkhs .Mostly students getting cgpa above 8 are selected for the jobs.

I liked the faculty members of Sikkim University, Though the university campus is not yet set up but the faculty members they try their best to improve the department culture
I like the standard of studies in the university.

Dislikes

Though there is placement cell in the university but it is not active, which is the most necessary thing a professional student need but isn't available.
Since the permanent campus is still under construction, we think that campus was necessary for good social relations.

Internships Opportunities:

There is a compalsary internship program for the student's according to the syllabus. The duration for the internship is 2 months and the students need to look and application for the available internship by themselves. The stipend depends on the company in which the students get the internship opportunity.

The University is research oriented, at the same time it also emphasizes on practical knowledge and implementation of the same in daily life

Dislikes

No proper campus, Classes, hostels and programs run on rented buildings which delay implementation of new facilities or schemes
Transportation facilities come up with numerous unsolved issues.

Internships Opportunities:

Students are provided permission letters for their internship in various institutions or hospital settings. university does not pay any stipends for internships. Since the course is research-based, various projects are implemented.

It will be very memorable experience, quite difference from any other university in India
Its campus is in the very clam and pleasant place.

Dislikes

The university dont have its own campus yet. So university departments are scattered all over the gangtok.

Internships Opportunities:

The psychology department of the university got the internship program as per my knowledge. If other department too got the same I don't have idea. Psychology department student visit hospital, rehabilitation centers and all as a part of internship program.

There is internship opportunities but it is quite hard to get internships as the university ranking is not that high but there is a chance that one can get an internship if one is qualified for such internships

University campus not yet finish. To communicate with other department we have travel through busses

Internships Opportunities:

In MCA internship is compulsory. We have submit internship certificate to get degree. If you find internship by yourself it good but if you cannot, they will provide some govt company for internship like Department of Technology, NIC, etc.

Faculties and their teaching style. The faculties are from different corner of country so students can learn many things
The Sikkim university has many students that are from different corner of India as well as out side of india that creats great unity in diversity

Dislikes

Sometimes lack of having permanent campus may creat a bit fuss
As sikkim is a hilly place so as like any other hilly place its a bit costly but not that much

Internships Opportunities:

Different companies outside of sikkim and also some of sikkim are providing internship to students and also sikkim is a place where there is many 5star hotels and students also get opportunity over there in hospitality sector
