Course curriculum and course structure, methods of examinations, etc was excellent and being a agricultural course it is always research oriented.
It's one of the best university of punjab soo getting a placement is quite normal but particularly they are more interested in sending students abroad.

Dislikes

Subjects are beyond expectations you use to get 8-11 subjects every semester there are no of exams going over this place and one usually get used to it.
Approximately 30-50% of our understudies were put in the wake of moving on from our university.

There are large number of opportunities for a brilliant students in the University. This University has bagged 3rd position nationwide in Agriculture and Allied sectors. So I think it is the best University for Agricultural sciences

The environment of university is very safe and eco friendly. Especially girls dont have to face any trouble
The food is hygiene student doesnot face any problem hostels are available which are little disappointing but they have maintained as much as they can

Dislikes

Lack of drinking water facilities in the university . And washroom are not cleaned properly
The coolers are not in working condition and during summer it causes lots of trouble and even generators are not present

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very interesting and teachers also provides us the notes Exam is divided as 3 sections first hourly mid term and end term in which first hourly consist of 10 marks and mid term 25-30 and end term 70 marks If we studied in first hourly and mid term properly woth good marks then we surely get passes easily

Amazing infrastructure and curricular . Best hostel food anyone can have . Veg-nonveg food provided . Nonveg thrice a week.
Based on the american system of education . Provides training in the 4th year of degree . Asia's on of the best agricultural University .

Dislikes

Hostels are not up to the mark and dont hacve air conditioning
Tiring schedule each semester includes 3 time exams and practicals .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses are generally classifies as credit hours 2+1 incudes 2 theory and one practical class per week . There are 3+1 and 1+1 and 1 creadit hour courses also . On average 9 courses per sem . Passing marks 55% of each course . Exams are cery frequent hourls 20 marks with full half weightage starts at 5 th week from new sem , mid semetsers , practicals , end terms of 70 marks with half weightage . Impresssive teaching methods . Smart class rooms and well equiped practical classes

Faculty is great teachers are so friendly and helpful
Overall study is good campus is good and big

Dislikes

No air conditioning in classes too hot and humid
Attendance issues are there minimum requirements are often not met

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th sem for placements Various agribusiness companies offers jobs and moreover plenty of govt jobs Highest package as per my knowledge is around 1cr Almost 100% placements are their I'll be focusing on entrepreneurship

This university has huge campus area with lot of greenary including trees etc
Well developed infrastructure and other faciltiies

Dislikes

This is a government university hence working is slow for a single piece of work you have to go to that teacher or professor for many times
Vehicles are allowed in campus which creates nuisance by vehicles

Basically, I belong to a rural agriculture background family due to which I want to know more about these crops how they are grown, and how they can be produced more efficiently to fulfill demand for food for the country.

Work pressure is very much. If you could work in high pressure this is your place

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was vast and filled with deep knowledge and practical aspect was also involved. It was completed based on day to day practicals. All the teachers are supportive and well educated. The exams are held in thre stages first hourly then second time mid term and then end term and practical. Both practical and theory exams have to be passed separately and all the four exams are added to get final results. Strict marking and checking of exams

Placement Experience:

For 3 years students get eligible for campus placements every year few members of the group come to give students either internship or a full package. Very few only one or two they didn't visit till now The highest is 9 lakh and the average is 40000 Only 78 % get placements I want to apply for a government job

Placement Experience:

Students are applying for placements in the last semester and they are informed about companies through mail by placement cell. Highest package is 6.5 lacs per annum and average is 3 lacs per annum. Around 50% of the students gets placed. After degree I will try for government job in agriculture field.

Placement Experience:

The placement level is poor as compared to other high-level govt. Colleges. The placement level is about 20% and that too of avg. Package of 2-2.5 lakhs. That's also because most the students are interested in higher studies and govt. Offered jobs and posts. Package varies from 2lakhs from lowest up to 6 lakhs. I'm planning for Postgraduate course after this and then preparation for ADO

Approximately 30-50% of our understudies were put in the wake of moving on from our university. The most significant pay bundle offered goes from Rs 4 LPA to Rs 6 LPA and the normal compensation was from between Rs1.5 LPA to Rs 2.5 LPA.
