College have a aircraft for the students of aerospace, the best part was the lab has one MIG-27 engine
Class rooms , lab facilities, and sports facilities provided by the kiiy university is excellent

Availablity of market at walking distance

Majority of people speaking Odia or Bengali, making it difficult of others to interact

Course Curriculum Overview:

For the first year, all btech branches have the same syllabus and curriculum, therefore the course for 1st year does not have much relavence with the branch of choice but has the advantage of giving info about all the other branches and fields.

I like the society's provided by the university to gain on hand experience and up skill my skills.
Offers wide range of books in library and sports of major games like swimming, football, hockey, basketball

Dislikes

Some times mess food is not good basically not up to the mark.
Some Laboratory needs improvement in the university

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible from the third year ending. Companies like TATA ADVANCE system, Honeywell aerospace, IT companies, core companies like JSW, maruti suzuki come for campus placement . I have not much idea of highest package. My plans after getting degree is to pursue Masters in aerospace engineering

Campus life is good and it should be maintained

Hostel is good but the food provider by them is very bad
Infrastructure is good but in some areas it is old

Placements in the collage are good.there is rise in good placements in the school of mechanical engineering.the new companies are begin start the campus placement from the recent years.the highest package is not good enough but that average of the placement are good

Lack of core companies for Mechanical/Electrical/Civil students.
Booking final Semester exam has a 1000 INR fees. Which should be free.

Placement Experience:

Third semester students beccome eligible for getting placed in companies or getting PPO based internships. Average company salaries are around five hundred fifty thousand INR per year. With some companies like, Amazon, offering way North of that. Placement conversions are very high as there are a number of recuiters, including mass recruiters to cream companies like Amazon, Jindal, etc. So, if anyone tries enough, they can get placed for sure. Placement Experience:

You are eligible for placements in 4th year or 3rd year last semester. companies like Deloitte, amazon, mu sigma, My Captain, Tata Advanced System, Tata Power, and many more companies. there are more than 250+ companies that do come for the placements process. so the placement here provided is excellent with an average package of 600000 LPA which goes up to 2500000 LPA. The highest package gone till now is RS. 4200000 LPA. and every year around 95% of students get placed. and the remaining to opt for higher studies in foreign universities like cranfield university, Mit University, Standford University, and many more. my plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies. i got offer from Cranfield university.

The placement is the key point for taking addmission in kiit . Kiit is best known for its package all across the country . The highest package this year was 64 lacs per annum which is very high . The average is about 8 lacs per annum

Remarks:

KIIT is a dream college in India would be. One should know how to take advantage of the facilities or advantage being provided because everything cannot be spoon-fed. One not-so-negative remark , the student has to live in quite a lot of restrictions for the first few months of their first year but that's for the betterment of the students only. If you are keen to have a secured future and have determination to grab a job after your graduation then KIIT is the college for you.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute

Pros

The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.

Cons

KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.

In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
