Room is well spacious. In first year you get shared room for 2 person you are provided with a table a chair an almirah a bed. From 2nd year onwards you get your single room with all facilities mentioned above. We have mess for food that is not of hostel but seperate from hostel. Food quality is not that good. But it's affordable hostel fees is also very low like 10 rupees per month. For post graduates who don't want to live in hostel they can rent home outside. We have localities and apartment aoutside where they can rent

Untill mid 2nd year you have to stay in double rooms, after that you get single room. The hostel for first year is new and has the best facilities, but the other hostels are a bit old with many architectural flaws, don't know what he smoked . There are two mess from which you can eat from wherever you like.

Hostel facility is really good in which you would have to share rooms among four people in 1st year....you will be having balcony bathroom and kitchen attached with it.... Meal is good.... registration is very easy...
The hostel infrstructure is good, but could have been better. The first year students are kept separated to ensure no ragging takes place. The girls are kept in flats, where 3 girls share two rooms, one kitchen, and one washroom/bathroom. In boys hostel, 2 boys share one room along with common washroom. 2nd year onwards, everyone gets a single room which is a major perk, but needs to share a common washroom. It is compuslory for everyone to stay in hostel.
AIIMS provide 1 room per 2 student vso that the infrastructure is so good. Pg students are allowed other buildings of floor and ug student are other girl hostel are also have another building. 2000 INR per month is hostel fee.
Single rooms available for all except 1st yr students, who are given accommodation in double rooms. All basic amenities including geyser is present. For UGs, washroom is common. For PGs, they have attached washroom.
Hostel rooms are good, 1st and 2nd year 2 person in a room, 3rd and 4th year single room, rooms are cleaned, study table and chairs. bed, mattress are available in hostel only. but all ug students have to stay in hostel only.
Quite after the midline. The whold campus contain 11blocks. The infrastructure of all blocks is well planned. The facilities are slightly good in terms of anything. The rules and regulations are too much strict.3guards in each block are doing their duty for 8hour
I shall rate the hostel infrastructure & facilities 8 out of 10. Big 8 storied buildings with average accommodation of 160 students in each of them. Single room is available from second year, with common bathroom. Bathroom & hygiene is well maintained. Gym, Common room, playground, indoor games hub available inside campus.
Hostel facilities are upto the mark. Mess food is very clean. A lot of varieties, 2 dining halls with 2 floora each, but gets busy in lunch every day, but dont worry there is very good hotel too...and the hotel does home delivery to hostel of students within minutes so come to chill in hostel and order our food
Recently, a new undergraduate hostel was inaugurated at AIIMS Bhubaneswar by the President Prof. S.K.Acharya.
Here is how AIIMS Bhubaneswar hostel rooms look from the outside.
I hope these photos are enough to give you an idea of AIIMS Bhubaneswar hostel rooms.
The hostels at AIIMS Bhubaneswar are strong, well built, and well maintained.
The UG and PG hostel rooms are almost equal in dimension but PG hostels are facilitated by attached bathrooms.
Boys will be accommodated as double occupants whereas a 2 BHK flat will be given to 3 girls. After 1 year, you will be provided single rooms.
Once you have the room, it is your responsibility to maintain it and properly take care of it without any damage. You will be provided with all the necessary facilities.
Only freshers are not allotted single seater rooms at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The rest of the students are allotted single rooms.
The authorities are somewhat right in allotting shared rooms to first year students. To be away from home for the first time can be very emotionally draining for many students. In such circumstances, having someone around helps them feel connected and happy. Other than that, sharing a room with someone from a different cultural background helps in making them broad-minded and accepting of others’ values. They have someone by their side in a new environment, which is another important benefit of shared rooms.
Thus, not allotting single seater rooms to freshers is a good decision made by the AIIMS Bhubaneswar authorities.
Yes, it is mandatory for all the students to stay in hostels at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Undergraduate students from MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, and B.Sc Paramedical and postgraduate students i.e. Senior Resident, Junior Resident, Ph.D. Scholars and M.Sc. are eligible for hostel accommodation at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
Students at AIIMS Bhubaneswar will be assigned a hostel room by default irrespective of the location they stay at. Students with their houses nearby can stay in the hostels on weekdays and go back to their homes on weekends as there aren’t any restrictions on that. For undergraduate students, the admission procedure for hostels is done at the same time along with the admission formalities for the course. Students at AIIMS Bhubaneswar hostels are advised to carry basic items like pillows, bed sheets, buckets, utensils, etc along with them for a comfortable stay at the hostels.
Every room at AIIMS Bhubaneswar hostels is provided with a bed, study table, chair, bookshelf, and almirah/ cupboard. The rooms are equipped with a ceiling fan and plug point in every room.
