All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur is a public medical college and research institute located in Chattisgarh, India. AIIMS Raipur offers scholarships to support students based on their academic standing and financial situation. Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF) is a national fellowship and scholarship programme for ST students pursuing higher education. One can get the neet application form on their website nta.nic.in, The application fee is different for different categories nearly 1300 for General and Obc. nearly 650 for SC and ST. Cut off of 2021 for our college was General: 675+ / 720, Obc: 650 + /720, Sc: 610 + /720, St: 580+ / 720. The admission process is ok.
Admission:
First, you have to do 11 and 12 standards in Biology physics chemistry and score 60% in those subjects and apply for the NEET exam which is conducted by NTA. Application is found over the NTA website and the application fee is 1500 for GENERAL and OBC. For SC and ST about 800. And application starts over January and till March mid. Till March-end there will be time for correction and in April last week, we can download admit card. Reservation is for SC 15% ST 7% OBC 27% and 50% for General category. The admission process is easy and there is no need for improvement.

1. Firstly, you have to give an entrance test to enter college. 2. Then sit in the counseling process for a lot of the college. 3. After allotment you have to report to the allotted college for admission. 4. When the admission process is completed then hostel allotment and mess fees are submitted. 5. Continue to study in college as a fresher.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because there is lot to learn and experience with amazing and interesting things. Also while in AIIMS you get to many things besides just traditional learning. Also faculty to student ratio is very good, there are 1 faculty per 5-6 students, Faculties are excellent and qualified from top notch institutions like AIIMS DELHI, JIPMER, MAMC, VMMC, PGIMER,BHU and other good institutes. Methodology of teaching is also very good with practicals of same topic following theory classes, practical classes are held regularly with each student getting instruments and resources for performing the practical individually. The frequency of exams is more as compared to other state colleges, there are 4 exams in a single professional year with each exam having appropriate weightage. Quality of examination papers is between moderate and tough with variety of questions including mcqs. Also the passing criteria is high and attendence also matters so one needs to work really hard and be regular to pass.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The syllabus in the college are updated regularly we are studying as per the latest syllabus.at my time I was the 2nd batch of the college so there is less exposure of clinical area the institute was newly established but now a days there is lot of clinical exposure while studying. the faculties are good as usual for each different subjects and topics there are different tutors.almost all of the faculties are good.

AIIMS Raipur is good in case of patient load, best faculties, better amenities provided by the institution, well equipped and established labs. But since the college grows in its childhood, it has got some limitations like difficulty in knowing the local dialect, Chattisgarhi.

He made the college one of best college among Indian medical colleges, within 8 year duration. College, and hospital facilities are efficient in all meanings. Does AIIMS Raipur have a uniform for first-year MBBS students?
AIIMS Raipur does not have any uniforms for freshers. However, it is expected that every MBBS student must wear a white apron with their name written on it, above the institution logo.
Although, freshers at AIIMS Raipur do not have any uniforms professors and seniors advise freshers to always be dressed formally. Boys in Formal Shirts and Pants and Girls in Kurthis with formal shoes. Doctors need to look decent, which aids in building their trustworthy among patients. Mostly, during clinical postings, students will be subjected to patient interaction. To-be-doctors need to build their image and trust with patients. Hence, freshers at AIIMS Raipur are advised to be formally dressed.
Will it be a right decision to leave AIIMS Patna for AIIMS Rishikesh or Raipur considering the current scenario?
I am a student at AIIMS Raipur, so I will try sharing some advantages of joining my institution.
I wouldn’t recommend AIIMS Rishikesh over Patna or Raipur. The only favorable thing in regard to AIIMS Rishikesh is that it is located in the lap of nature. But over the years, its hype has somewhat died down partially because of constant issues with the administration. Also, the other AIIMS have seen an increase in their PG seats. AIIMS Patna and Raipur have excelled in other areas, and made up for their lack in terms of location.
The main hospital building of AIIMS Raipur was recently completed, and all the major departments have been shifted in the same. The faculty at AIIMS Raipur is as good as any other AIIMS, and academic excellence is given utmost priority. The attendance system is a bit strict, but it is totally up to the AIIMS standards.
The Trauma and Emergency is top notch at AIIMS Rishikesh, but that is of less importance for an MBBS student. The patient load has increased at AIIMS Raipur over the years. The students of AIIMS Raipur can join various cultural, literary and sports clubs. This helps in overall development and extracurricular achievement.
Thus, I would recommend AIIMS Raipur as a good institution for an MBBS, but even AIIMS Patna is a good choice.

AIIMS Raipur Placements 2023 has been announced for the PG courses such as MD, MS and MDS on the official website. However, AIIMS Raipur MBBS Placements 2023 is yet to be announced. According to the AIIMS Raipur NIRF 2023 Report, a total of 45 students from MBBS Batch 2022 were placed with a median package of INR 14 LPA. The median package offered to MBBS students is raised by 7.6% compared to 2021. AIIMS Raipur Placements 2023 for PG courses such as MD, MS and MDS has been concluded. The median package offered stood at INR 16 LPA and a total of 70 students were placed on campus. The total number of students placed for PG courses has seen a significant increase by 66.66% compared to the previous year where a total of 42 students were placed in 2022.
The admission fees is included in the 1st year fee structure itself which is INR 1628.
You can apply for various scholarships like FFE, and NSP. The fee is very nominal at the college.
