  • Hostels are pretty old with many architecture flaws... Only the first year hostel is good as it's newly constructed
  • No Domino's, Pizza hut etc inside the campus like some other AIIMS.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The main aspect which led me to choose this course is the interaction with people and the exposure. When you choose this field , you get the most respected field amd gets honour and diginity in the society..

Internships Opportunities :

After the end of 4th year , you have to do alomst 1 year internship in the college, and you get paid for it, although less. As it is a central government institute so there are no bonds, so you can pursue for PG directly after that.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As everyone knows, in any AIIMS of India you have to pay a total amount of 5856 at the time of joining and that's it. Here all the expenses of academic curriculum and hostel fees are included. Only thing which if not included is the mess fees...

Campus Life :

The annual fest of AIIMS BBSR is called CHIASMA. It is a inter college event. It has both cultural, sport ,and pro-night events in which reputed singers , DJs perform. Another fest is the ANNUAL DAY and INFINTO(for sports only). Along with many 1 day events happening throughout the year. Our college has a very big library, air conditioned and with electronic gadgets. Sporty facilities are also well maintained. SAAB is the students run social group.

Hostel Facilities :

Untill mid 2nd year you have to stay in double rooms, after that you get single room. The hostel for first year is new and has the best facilities, but the other hostels are a bit old with many architectural flaws, don't know what he smoked . There are two mess from which you can eat from wherever you like.

Admission :

Almost everybody knows to get into this field you need to qualify in the NEET UG exam with a good rank, which is conducted every year. Application form can be downloaded from the respective college website. No extra fees apart from the 5856 bank draft .

Faculty :

Almost 10 faculty per department. And JRs and SRs 5-8 to support you Faculties are well qualified from reputed colleges. There is no limitations to contact to the faculties, they even share their personal numbers in case if you have got some problem in any topics.

Other Applied Colleges

All India Institute of Medical Sciences - [AIIMS] | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery [MBBS]

It was too far from Kolkata, approximately 3 hours drive

My inclination towards the profession came from my father. There should be research opportunities for interested students. There should be more interactive sessions with students and MCQ tests on a regular basis.

Being a doctor is itself a blessing and saving life is the next best thing . The cirriculum is hard but teaches us the basic aspect of medical science and the exams are necessary so that the pressure doesn't fall on us during university exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I chose is MBBS. Every aspirants know that how nobel this profession is. We are hearing of rumors like we'll be having NExT exam so according to that a little bit change is needed like shifting ophthalmology and ENT to final year and MCQ pattern for our exam. Difficulty level of exams is moderate. You get some basic questions. Some desirable to know type of questions

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS Course which is around 5.5 yr is very difficult course as it will make you a doctor which is on of the most prestigious profession .Here you not only read theory but practical aspect is also more important. Students deal with patients in hospitals while studying clinical subjects. Here whole course is divided in 3 proff+ internship for around 6 months . 3rd proff is around again divided into 2 phase . In each year you have to appear at least 3 internal exams and one university exam which consist of both theory and practical examination. To pass the exam you have to secure atleast 40% in theory and in practical separately and 50% aggregately.Teaching method given by NMC is quite effective and difficult also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose it because I wanted money and respect which this course delivers. Teacher and student ratio is ok but nowadays there is a shortage of faculties, so pg students teach us sometimes. MBBS qualified and method is slide reading only. Term exams are on time but it's difficult u know it's mbbs it's tough. Passing is not always possible.

I always wanted to be a Doctor. So I chose this course. Faculties are very few, to be honest. Teachers are mostly doctors and with pg. Exams are held at the end of the year. It's called a Medical board examination. You have to score 50% in theory and practical separately to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

in AIIMS, students can get the best professors and doctors for their academics. AIIMS is autonomous so we are independent in our syllabus and exam which provide a standard over other colleges. the course curriculum strictly follows clinical knowledge which shapes us to be a good doctors in the future. some departments are very good in teaching like pharmacology, anatomy, pediatrics, biochemistry.
