Sri Ram Chandra Bhanja Medical College & Hospital is one of the very first medical institutes in the eastern part of India which educates the students with medical teaching, training, patient care, and research. The college is situated in the Cuttack city, in the state of Odisha. The entire college campus is spread among 87.32 acres. The SCB Medical College was approved by the Medical Council of India and is affiliated to the Utkal University which is in the city of Bhubaneswar.

SCB Medical College and Hospital offers various kinds of medical courses like M.B.B.S., M.D., M.S., B.D.S., Diploma, Super specialty, and Ph.D. A super specialty course is the one which is studied after the completion of an MBBS (UG) degree and a specialization degree. SCB Medical College Cuttack Admission
SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack offers UG and various PG courses to their students. Candidates who wish to undergo an MBBS course in the SCB Medical College in Cuttack must take up the NEET UG examination which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and have to score a minimum percentage in the exam. An internship program is available within the college itself for the students as it is the medical college and hospital. Students are offered clinical postings across a variety of wards like medicine, surgery, psychiatry, gynecology, etc. Students are also provided with a stipend during this internship period. The amount of stipend is based on the guidelines of the State Government. The course eligibility is to get a good and descent rank in neet UG to get addmission in mbbs or bds. Application form and fees related things are provided in the education department. There is no areas where improvement is required.

- Professors are excellent in their teaching styles.

- Mess food is little bit costly. And lifts are not available in hostels.

Admission is done through counseling conducted by MCC. You have to attend NEET with a minimum age of 18years and get a minimum cut-off of 640 to get a seat. Application form and fees are given on NTA website. Reservation benefits can be availed.

- My college is ranked as the top most government hospital in Odisha. I appreciate all the facilities available and I don't feel any field that requires improvement
- As I live in the hostel I am engaged with my seniors and my batchmates on a daily basis and yes we have a very nice social interaction.

- I don't feel any lacking points in my college.
Admission:
The admission process was smooth and was undertaken by OJEE as I took admission through state quota. I being a General student with no quota faced a higher amount of competition and I got my seat in SCBMCH, Cuttack in 2021 with a mark of 638/720. Nowadays the question level is decreasing and due to easier questions students are securing very high marks and that's why the cutoffs are skyrocketing.

- There is more patient flow into the hosipital as it is one of the primary hospital of Odisha.So patient exposure is much better here.
- The relationship between batchmates and seniors is very good here.
Dislikes
- In the name of college campus there is very less space here.
- As the hospital is closely situated to college there is people here and there always.

To take admission you have to qualify NEET i.e National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. This exam takes place once a year conducted by NTA. Mostly happening on 1st Sunday of may each year. Exam difficultly level is quite hard as more than 22 lakhs people give this exam each year.

- There are some problems in the hospital for patients.
- I dislike some seniors in our hostel because they do raging.

The eligibility is +2 science and selection is mark basic. I found the application form from DMET odisha website , 600 rupees is the application fee for any course this form is released in the month of July -september. There are minimum three sectional exam in a year and a final exam in the last of every year .

After qualifying National Eligibility cum Entrance Test(NEET) we have to go to state councelling called odisha joint entrance exam (ojee) there occurs 4 round to get selected according to the marks obtained. At the time after counseling the will release date and procedures to follow. we have to go to college for documents verification. There is reservation for ST,SC,GC,PH .

You can be eligible for the M.B.B.S. couse in S.C.B medical College and hospital, Cuttack through the NEET examination which happens every year all over India. As you qualify the NEET examination you have to apply online for the admission and select the colleges you are interested in. You will get the college according to your marks in the NEET examination. There are reservation benefits for SC, ST, PH students. There is also special state quota available. They have usual exams as per the OUHS ( Odisha University of Health Science ). It is a very old, heritage college and it is the best college to pursue M.B.B.S. within Odisha.

Centurion is one of the best college in odisha.i have completed my dmlt course from scbmch.so I want to do the course of radian technology in this college.but in SCB medical College my annual fees is 10500 which is affordable,but in Centurion it is very costly which is 120000.so I prefer to let the fee low.
