Nagpur: It is so expensive and is very boring compared to cities like pune hyderabad and even indore

Infrastructure is very good and campus area is also decent neither very small nor very large . Approx(250 acres)
Sports facilty here are very good . You get different courts for different sports and also the Vnit badminton court is best in nagpur .

Dislikes

Here the administration is very strict . They frequently impose fines for activity like birthday celebration inside hostel . You cannot have dj night after 10.30 pm.

Placement Experience:

after third year of graduation, students are eligible for placements . Around 1250 offers were made Some of the companies are DE SHAW , GOOGLE , ORACLE ,BPCL , HPCL etc. highest package recorded was 50 lakhs in 2024, whereas the average package lies between 10 to 12 lakh . He is in mechanical engineering department for the year 2024 out of 115 students 96 got placed .

There are many clubs and social and cultural activities happening in campus. Such as E-Cell, Hallabol, Iv Labs, Iridesence, Shadow club, Tolly dance club, Grooves, and many more. THe college also have one student body which conducts festivals.
There are many big buildings in the campus, one is CRC which is class room complex in this building all the classes happens and another one is Academic building where all labs and high end equipments are kept.

Dislikes

I don't like the quality of teaching. The Porfessors here take the courses lightly means they don't give that much attention to the college students.
I also disliked the coding atmosphere of our college we don't have an exclusive club for coding and coding is being taught to only students of Computer science and not to other branches.

Placement Experience:

Placements are perfect for the Mechanical and Computer Science branches. Other circuital branches also have dashing placements like Electronics and Electrical—Avg package of around 7 lakhs. Oracle, Exxon Mobili, Bajaj, TVS, and Varrock, are some companies visiting campus.

Lush green campus, campus Location inside the city, so easy access to shops and marketplace

Dislikes

Nagpur climate a bit harsh and irregular

Placement Experience:

80-90% students are getting placed in mechanical, but talking about other departments like civil, chemical, they have a bit lower stats, and as usual the circuital branches have a good record always, it also depends on the performance of all the students overall, and average package is 8-9 LPA with lowest is around 5-6 LPA and highest going upto 20 LPA (for core mechanical)

Campus is lush green , give good vibes and peaceful environment

Placement Experience:

Placement is Mechanical departent are good conmparable to circuital branches,although not all branches are able to produce same number of placed students.,civil department being among the lowest placed, unplaced students tend to lean on government job preparation.

I like the greenery here. The infrastructure is also good. The mechanical department faculty is nice
There are many clubs here which we can join for some extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

There is only 1 canteen which is bad. The mess food quality is bad to ok.

Placement Experience:

In 3rd year, we get internship opportunities which is not that great for mechanical. In our final year, we can get placement which is quite good with all students getting placed with average package of 10LPA. Highest package this year is 20LPA. My plan after my degree is doing MBA.

College campus as there is 215 acres campus area
Hostel facilities as there is single room for 2nd year onwards for boys we get our privacy

Dislikes

Mess food, it is goid in non veg only in veg food it's not that good
There is Intime extension for 1st year boys and it is very early as it is 8 pm

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college is good as there is average placements of 10 lakh per annum nearly and highest package is 64 lakh. It's a good college for placements the percentage of student getting placed is 80% the decrease in percentage because of civil branch as civil brach has very low placements this year only nearly 35% students got placed but here mechanical placements is better tha all core branches as 82% students got placed with average of 19 lakh and highest of 31 lakh per annum this year and I also want to prepare for placemats and do job in core as an mechanical engineer after the colkege

Very strict management. No supplie system we have to again re write the exam we failed in just 18 days
Management won't listen to your problem attentively they will do whatever they were fixated on without considering your urges.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and from 5th semester students are eligible for campus internship cycle. There is a very good facility of Training and Placement in VNIT. Considering all departments 7 LPA is the average package. Last year D E Shaw offered the highest package of 62 LPA. Large number of companies visit VNIT from every sector.

A glimpse at VNIT NAGPUR

The lush green campus of 215 acres in the middle of the city is great.
The facilities which the college has to offer is amazing specially the sports facilities are too good.

Dislikes

Very competitive as all the people around you are very smart and have cracked jee so the competition is high.
The weather here during summers is very extreme.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good and student get internships in 3rd year and placement or PPO in 4th year. Highest package last year was 64lpa and more than 80% were placed last year. All type of companies related to engineering background visit the campus during placements and also the vast alumni networks helps in the process. My plans are to work in the automobile industry after getting my degree

Placement are quite decent but slightly below expectations Student start getting placed as they enter their 7th semester Near about 300 companies visit vnit and offer about 1000-1200jobs Highest package sttod around 64lpa and lowest being 4-5lpa however more than 90% student got placed

Here whole campus is green and have good structured building.
Many clubs are present that develop some responsibility and talent.

Dislikes

For 1 St boys hostel intime is 8 pm late entry give fine
Difficult to score good marks bcz profeser set difficult paper

At 7 semester you are eligible for campus placement .Google,d.e shaw,oracle,Goldman sachs ,wells Fargo, Citi india etc 64 lac is max pachage and 10 lac is average package 92 percent student get placement .I also try for placement
