A candidate seeking admission to ME Courses should have passed B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent examination approved by the AICTE in appropriate branch with at least 55% marks in the aggregate. Also, admission will be done purely on the basis of merit of GATE score. Hence the candidate is expected to have a valid GATE score as well.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on the submitted GATE scores of the candidates. They will have to register for DTE counselling conducted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Register at the official website of DTE MP by entering the personal and academic details, and uploading the photograph, signature and other relevant documents.
If the candidate could not upload the documents, they can visit the nearby nodal centre for verification, as mentioned in the login ID. Candidates must take their original documents for verification with a set of photocopies.
Candidates will have to fill in the choices in the decreasing order of preference and lock them. Minimum 1 choice is to be entered that must include specializations from RGPV.
Once the options are locked by the candidate, they cannot change the options.
