Students after coming in 7th semester, they start finding job opportunities. Placement of BAU is not that good. NGOs like Pradaan offer jobs as well as banks like IDBI also come for placement. Their package is around 3 Lakh to 5 Lakh per annum. Students getting placed is also very less. Its around 20% of the batch. Most students prefer higher studies for better opportunities and package. You can pursue M.Sc or MBA after graduation for better opportunities.

The course of Bsc Agriculture is extremely interested to study and learn. The fact that you're connected to the field for most of the time enhances your understanding of the subject in depth. It prepares us for real world applications as the subjects such as extension education or RAWE programme is included in the curriculum. These programmes bring us face to face with real life situations. The areas of improvement include more exposure to outside world. The frequency of exams is once in a semester. The difficulty level is moderate.

Placements are not quite attractive. Even not many companies visit here for campus drive. This is the area where university should look upon, but now placement cell is getting active but stillit is not up to the mark.

The course as well as the reputation of course along with university is also good. Once upon a time this university listed in top 5 agricultural University in India. This university has a broad alumni which is serving our country in many ways. There are 2 semesters per year and exams are based on the semesters.
I chose this course because of the high job opportunities in a short period of time. There are sufficient faculty members for different subjects to teach the batch strength. Faculty members are well qualified in their specific subjects. The teaching style of professors is very attractive and meaningful. In a semester there are two exams one is mid-term other is end-term with the practice of subjects. To obtain passing marks in a specific subject is not very difficult for the student who studies hard at the right time.
This course has high job security and high vacancy in India. Ratio 1:60 teacher: student. All faculty are highly educated with phd degrees. Every 6-month semester exam goes on and it was very tough to pass the exam
I chose it as it is the most valued and advanced one. Ratio 1:50. All teachers are Ph.D. qualified and very highly educated. Every 6-month exam goes on Semester wise and exams are very much tough level to pass.
You are eligible for placement in the 8th Semester. You have on campus as well as off campus placement. Students had grabbed good placements in various private firms mostly banking with an average package of 4-6 LPA. Since I am a first year student. I don't know much about placement and Internships. But you will get more opportunities in this university than any other agricultural university in this state. And in the coming future, the demand will increase for agriculture graduates. Most students who don't take placements prepare for JRF and higher studies or prepare for PCS and various vacancies in both government and private firms providing good posts and salaries. There are many more options to explore than you know now. You will get to know many more options from your professors and seniors.
From the 7th semester campus placement start. Companies like nestle, Unilever cames. The highest package is 12 lakh per annum. The lowest package is 10 lakh per annum. 66% of students get placement. My plan for MBA in agribusiness further.
From 8th-semester campus placement start. I visited nestle and many government PSU. Highest package 20 lakh per annum. The lowest package is 12 lakh per annum. 80% get placement. I will do MBA further in higher studies.
