Course Curriculum Overview :

As a agriculture student, we have to deal with various disciplines Every semester consists 9-10 subject which makes it vast. Last year is full of practical based and for internship. At the end of third year educational tour is their for students. Overall course curriculum is very vast but interesting.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship are available at the last year of this course but many ones are unpaid only few are paid, may this will change but as of now every one will be avail compulsory internship in last year by college itself.

Placement Experience :

Placements are not quite attractive. Even not many companies visit here for campus drive. This is the area where university should look upon, but now placement cell is getting active but stillit is not up to the mark.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships provided for students Like those who come from icar and if they are from other state, if they maintain 7 cgpa they will get benefit of monthly 3000 from icar. Likewise state students whoever from ST, SC, OBC get benefit from e kalyan scholarship annually. Merit scholarship also provided by university to top students. Students can avail only one type of scholarship. But as hostel and ciurse fee is very less, it is so much affordable.

Campus Life :

Campus is beautiful, it has many plants tress of different types like ornamental, fruits etc Hostel infrastructure is not upto the mark. It has large open campus. Sometimes outsiders create problem but security guards are everywhere at some distance.

Hostel Facilities :

As discussed hostel infrastructure is not upto the mark Rooms are three sharing, double sharing some rooms are single sharing also But girls hostel doesn't have single room. Mess food are not upto the mark. Hostel are accomadated to everyone as this is residential college. Different hostels are there for different college of this university at different places.

Admission :

Talking about admission process, there are two process through which we can take admission from Jceceb This is for state domicile students They take exam jcece for agriculture and allied course prior or somtime after neet It consits 150question for 150 marks 1 marks for each 50question each for bio, phy, chem of 11and 12 level 90 marks is enough for gen category for main campus. Reservations are also their. Icar This is national level exam Now it is merged with cuet but counselling is done separately by icar. Mediore result will be enough for this.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is good, every course consits 3-4 teachers. You can go and talk to teachers anytime. Mostly teachers uses slides and smartboard for their teaching method which is sometime good but sometimes not upto the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of Bsc Agriculture is extremely interested to study and learn. The fact that you're connected to the field for most of the time enhances your understanding of the subject in depth. It prepares us for real world applications as the subjects such as extension education or RAWE programme is included in the curriculum. These programmes bring us face to face with real life situations. The areas of improvement include more exposure to outside world. The frequency of exams is once in a semester. The difficulty level is moderate.

My intention behind choosing the course bsc agriculture is to gain knowledge about it. They are preparing the student for the future but only for exams. Teaching methods is good bt some teachers only give notes. Faculty also irritated the students during the exams.
