You are eligible for placement in the 8th Semester. You have on campus as well as off campus placement. Students had grabbed good placements in various private firms mostly banking with an average package of 4-6 LPA. Since I am a first year student. I don't know much about placement and Internships. But you will get more opportunities in this university than any other agricultural university in this state. And in the coming future, the demand will increase for agriculture graduates. Most students who don't take placements prepare for JRF and higher studies or prepare for PCS and various vacancies in both government and private firms providing good posts and salaries. There are many more options to explore than you know now. You will get to know many more options from your professors and seniors.
From the 7th semester campus placement start. Companies like nestle, Unilever cames. The highest package is 12 lakh per annum. The lowest package is 10 lakh per annum. 66% of students get placement. My plan for MBA in agribusiness further.
From 8th-semester campus placement start. I visited nestle and many government PSU. Highest package 20 lakh per annum. The lowest package is 12 lakh per annum. 80% get placement. I will do MBA further in higher studies.
Students in 7th semester are provided industrial internships and the after 8th semester are eligible for campus placement. Companies like JSLPS, BRLPS, SYNGENTA, BAYER,etc come for campus placement. Highest package offered is of 4lkhs/annum. Very few companies come for placement. Because of all this, students prefer for preparing for government jobs and Bank exams. Around 5-10% students opt for capmus placement. My plans after getting degree is to prepare for JRF exam for admission in post graduation course.

Internship is provided by college in 7th semester during the RAWE programme (Rural agricultural work experience) for 70 days. Various companies including TSF, Mahindra etc. come to college to pick students for internship. Sometimes the internship is paid but mostly it is on unpaid basis.

Placements are not quite attractive. Even not many companies visit here for campus drive. This is the area where university should look upon, but now placement cell is getting active but stillit is not up to the mark.
Private sector job offers are high. one year internship with educational tours for our practical improvements. there are many projects which we have to do with fields, farmers and our nature. For government jobs, students have to qualify for entrance exam for the specific job post exams.
From eight semester students became eligible for campus placement but the campus placement is not good as expected. Most of the students are only preparing for government exams like Agriculture Field Officers or NABARD or IFFCO or UPSC or SSC.
Talking about the placements of this college is not that impressive if we compare to other colleges, but that does not mean the placement does not happen here. After all it depends on the ability of the students whether he wanna accomplish it or not. College can only provide them facilities, they just have to take the advantage of it.
There is small lacking in the placement since big companies doesn't come. But some good companies do come. Mainly students go to government jobs through competition and also banks. Some students go for higher education. However in the final year a 6 month industrial internship is provide in big companies like Bayer, Mahindra, IFFCO, etc
