- The campus and infrastructure is quite beautiful and lush green.
- The number of classes per week gives us enough time to focus on co curricular activities.
Dislikes
- Few teachers are a bit passive in their teaching style.
- Theres no seperate building for two of the seven departments engineering physics and material sciences
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is quite relevant in accordance with the growing need of material engineers and scientists. Each semester has 50% theory and 50% practical subjects so that we get a first hand experience of real world applications as well as preparations for masters in same.
Likes
- NIT hamirpur has a beautiful campus with all the facilities.
- NIT hamirpur has good and maintained infrastructure.
Dislikes
- Some parts need maintenance and cleanliness.
- Improved placement services are required.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is good as the faculty is also supportive so, they help the student in academics as well as in placements as a mentor. Curriculum prepare for the real world applications as teachers focus on that things that are used in real world.

- Hostel food nescafe girls greenery festivals
Dislikes
- Professors (some), hostel food some times no transportation
- No taxi service for cheap it is very costly

Faculty is quite good. You have to show. Interest so that they can help you better be regular in classes and ask your doubts only then the teachers will help you it is not a school so no one will spoon feed you

- The Surroundings of the campus is very good and lot of Greenery in the campus.
- Faculty at NIT Hamirpur is so helpful and understanding.
Dislikes
- The in timing of hostel I.e. 9:30 pm as it's quite early
- The food is not so good at hostel so have to eat at shops.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is generally based on the day to day life problems and how to conquer these issues. As in today's life the miniaturization of devices is happening so it's important to study nanoscience and nanotechnology.
Likes
- I really liked the campus as it live up to its name as one of the most beautiful NITs
- I liked the faculty under which I got to learn so much and do project.
Dislikes
- Hostel in-timings 9 pm is tooo early for real
- I hated the 75 percent attendance rule like c'mon man.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Well its a pretty impressive coure dealing with a mixture of chemistry and physics. And for the real wold applications we have tons of labs where we learn to perform practical applications of what we have studied in our course and I think the course is well maintained and don't need that much of improvement but I think practical labs can be upgraded a little. Timing of exams and difficulty level is too easy you just need one night study session to pass with good marks.

- The Campus of the collage is a sight to behold
- The various activities held in the collage are very fun
Dislikes
- The budget of our technical fest is very low
- Holidays are scarce and given less frequently

I was very interested in the field of nanotechnology and in this collage there are various subjects that helps you in the field. The courses helps prepare for real world situations with ample of practical knowledge.

- college life is nice you will make good friends.

- placement is a great concern else is good
