I applied for more 3-4 colleges named DAIICT Gandhinagar and Nirma University besides PDEU but I didn't get a seat in those college due to my ACPC merit. Although I got a confirmed seat in PDEU through ACPC and also beside PDEU I was able to acquire seat in every private university but I preferred PDEU over others because of its reputation and placements and also the faculty experience and the culture.

When a top universities like PDEU exists why will one even think of choosing any other university. PDEU has its own entrance and it is tough as students from almost all the regions apply for PDEU. So, getting admissions here ain't that easy as 50% is Gujarat quota and therefore 50% students are from Gujarat but rest from other parts of the country.

I had applied to Chandigarh University, Nirma University, UPES dehradun, out of which I got confirmation from 1st and 3rd I chose this college because of this course as I didn't want to go in the IT field and it is also comparatively closer to my house

Firstly i was in Ahmedabad university, i loved that college too but there was a lot of work load given in that college, i got admission through acpc so i had a option to change my college till 30 September, i tried getting into pandot deendayal enerrgy university formerly known as pdeu by getting in vacant round which happened for first time here, then i got admission here luckily in computer engineering

I also applied to Nirma University. I got there admission in the Electronics and Communication department, but I want admission in computer science, so I chose Pandit Deendayal Energy University over Nirma University. I also applied for NITs, but admission criteria of 75% in boards got me rejected. In my college, you can get admission through online mode. The eligibility criteria is changed every year, so you have to check the official website for eligibility. Our college accepts the Jee main score and the Gujaratcet score, and you can get admission through ACPC counselling.

I couldn't make it to any IITs or NITs or any IITs but this was best option i could get at 96%ile in JEE MAINS 2024 January attempt. And admission procedure is awesome and comfortable. Eligibility for this is JEE MAINS and GUJCET+Board

As PDEU's niche is Energy and Sustainability, I think that everyone should move towards a renewable lifestyle as the world is getting a hotter place to live. By coming into this college i have been getting taught that how can i be a successful engineer but with a mind sustainability and renewable energy usage. Therefore i use my mind to and engineer things in such a way that it is green energy and sustainable contributing to my college's aim. No i didnt apply for any other college.

My personal reason for choosing this college is for better college life along with studies as other college make too much burden on students for studies only and don't focus on overall growth of students.About admission process you have to visit their original site.

Addmission process was very clear. Just a basic test of what you studied in the past and the score you had for your 12th board exam. My college is pretty huge compared to other colleges i opted for and i am glad i chose this.
