IIM Ahmedabad offers an excellent opportunity to students willing to pursue Phd programs across 11 specialization areas. The specialization areas include Communication, Economics, Agriculture, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Strategy, HR Management, Information Systems, Operations and Decision Sciences, Organisational Behaviour, Public Systems Group.
To be eligible to get an admission into the Phd programs, one must have a valid CAT score (taken in the last two years) or any of the other exams like GRE, GMAT, GATE, UGC- JRF, UGC-NET JRF. Later, the students shall be selected on the basis of their Academic Background, Work Experience and final rounds of Personal interviews(PI).
