The curriculum over here is interesting if you actually want to learn forensic science. The curriculum includes various subjects like crime scene investigation, forensic psychology, toxicology, ballistics, cyber security etc. With the help of practicals, we get more exposure. You will even crack your exams easily if you actually study smartly.

The curriculum gives equal weightage to theory and practicals. The theory is very subject specific and relevant to forensic science. It includes real life case studies and examples. The practicals performed are as per DFSS manual and standards. One thing that would make it even better is continuation of subjects in each semester for much detailed study and knowledge in that particular field. For eg. Forensic physics is not present in 4th semester which creates a gap. Bsc subjects should be in more depth and detail so that student can know relevant information about that field and its real life applications. The exams are very frequent and keep you busy we have Term assesment 1 and 2 ,Midsem, end sem exams in a semester of 6 months along with presentations and assignments. The curriculum does not have any extracurricular activities like sports or cultural.

The subject itself is very interesting and requires you to study almost all aspect from physics chemistry biology computer to psychology law. It is a very good subject for civil services examinations. The teaching methods are mostly traditional through notes or presentations however the practical exposure is good enough. The library facilities are also good with mostly books available in either offline or online form. The exams occur 4 times per semester. TA-1 25 marks mid semester exams for 50 marks exams TA-2 25 marks (usually in the form of presentations, projects or assignments) and end semester exams (100 marks). All of these are considered for the final grade of each subject and semester. At the end a SPI score is calculated. End semester exams are externally checked while the other three are internal examinations. The difficulty level ranges from medium to difficult.

This course is integrated i.e., it offers you a bachelor's plus master's degree in 5 years.(without an entrance test for master's). This is the most interesting and beneficial thing about this course. There is also an exit gate present after the bachelors. Our course is divided into 10 semesters . Each semester we have new subjects l. This course covers almost everything a forensic expert should need to know. Every semester there are 4 types of exams (TA -1 & TA-2 (25 marks) midsems (50marks) and endsems(100 marks)). midsems and endsems are written TA-1 is objective and TA-2 is practical based projects which are really fun. So at the end a student is evaluated from 200 marks total. Result are provided in SPI at the end of every semester

Forensic sciences is a relatively new and unheard of profession. While it has a lot of growth potential, the course itself doesn't provide placements except in private field. But the subjects are interesting and any student willing to devote proper time would excel in it

• well this course is my 2nd optional course (1st option was medical course) also this course made me interested and curious like solving some mysteries. • this course is like solving the dangerous, mysterious problems in real life which we can see in movies and webseries • according to tripura campus(as I am from that campus only) they need much improvement in course materials and teaching as somehow they lacks sometimes. • the timing of exam is like in every month it gonna happen according to exam sessions and the difficulty level is depend on exam sessions only
