Nirma University Admission 2024

Admission:
The exam of NATA is to be attempted to get into any architecture college. Admission to Nirma can be through ACPC(Admission Commission for Professional Courses) if you have done your 12th in GSEB and have attempted the NATA exam. There are 33% of seats reserved for this criteria. (If you have above 80%tage in Boards overall and above 130 (out of 200) in Nata, it's preety easy to get in. The other seats are filled by the college itself, which are also merit-based (All India Category), you need to fill out the admission form from the Nirma University website. All the details are available on the website, and you can also call to avail more information.

Through ACPC as its for Gujarat students only. Other ways you can get addmission is through jossa that is Jee score and other is throught the NRI seats thatbare basically for the foreign students and also there is a gulf quota.

- The clubs are often too political to enjoy being a part of. This leads to certain toxicity within student groups.

The admission process for me was fairly simple, it was through the website with the eligibility of over 75% in 12th + JEE. That's cus Im in ITNU, if you are aiming for other institutes within the university, the entrance exam relevant to that course and/or your 12th grades are taken into account.

- The CAD CAM labs are open for anyone to use if they wish to, which as a mechanical engineer sounds very free.

- Some teachers are too old school and dense. They cannot tolerate a 1-2 min delay and would cause a 15-20 min delay spent in lecturing

The admission process wasnt very hectic and the cut off too. I dont have any necessary qualms with the admission process, it was like any typical private college admission process with a lump sum of higher students admitted in CSE

Admission:
Admission in Nirma is done by either ACPC or JEE. If you want to take admission by JEE, you have to fill a seperate form which is available in college's official website. You can also take admission through NRI quota.

- Students are mostly been taught theortically not practically , but because of few clubs students are getting some workshops which helps a lot .
Admission:
Admission in Btech is provided in two ways . 35 % seats are takes based on Jee mains score and 50% on gujcet merit. other 15% seats are for NRI sponsored . Through Jee main : Cse around 95 percentile, ECE 93 percentile, Electrical and mechanical around 80 percentile other for chemical also 80 percentile or around it normally merit goes .Civil you can get near 70 percentile. but this are changing every year it may up or down as per results.

- Initially when i joined the college the environment in term of academic and other curricular activity was excellent. However, with time the ranking and the environment w.r.t. to everything went down.
- The professors was the second best thing in the college but due to the rigid policies they all left.

- The stringent and the rigid policies with regard to attendance
- Medical exemption was not counted even if it was a major concern for the student
Admission:
The admission is based on the CLAT marks and the only one thing i liked about this college was that it does not have a reservation in the admission process. Admission is totally based on the merit bases. However, with time the cut-off for getting admission has been constantly decreasing and therefore the quality of students and teachers is also degrading. Initially when i took the admission last seat which was offered to a student having all India rank of 3000 but now the number of seats in the college has increased and consequently the person with 8000 rank is also getting admission in the college.

A student must be 12 pass with 60% and appear in the clat exams and having the good rank in exams like 2000-3000 for admission in Nirma University Ahmedabad there is no reservations policy but there is management quota for which a student can apply.

- The best thing about Nirma is its campus. It is the most beautiful campus one could expect from a college.
- The location of Nirma is such that it falls between gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
Dislikes
- The crowd in Nirma is not that great. People find it difficult to adjust there.
- Diseases like Dengue and seasonal flu are very common in Ahmedabad which spreads more easily in Nirma.
Admission:
The eligibility of the course is appearing for CLAT examination and falling somewhere under Rank 7000. There is no reservation benefit in Nirma. There are 3 MCQs out of which best of 2 is selected. Moreover, we have mid semesters, projects, vivas and then the end semester. The admission process is very smooth. All we need to do is fill the admission form and take the CLAT examination. If your rank falls within 7000, you will most likely get into Nirma.

Nirma University Postdoctoral Fellowship is available for students who are interested in doing research under a mentor for a minimum duration of a year. They should have appeared in all the examinations of their graduation by the time of commencement of the programme. The tuition fee paid by such candidates will be forfeited unless such vacant seats are filled by other candidates
