Course Curriculum Overview

4

This course is integrated i.e., it offers you a bachelor's plus master's degree in 5 years.(without an entrance test for master's). This is the most interesting and beneficial thing about this course. There is also an exit gate present after the bachelors. Our course is divided into 10 semesters . Each semester we have new subjects l. This course covers almost everything a forensic expert should need to know. Every semester there are 4 types of exams (TA -1 & TA-2 (25 marks) midsems (50marks) and endsems(100 marks)). midsems and endsems are written TA-1 is objective and TA-2 is practical based projects which are really fun. So at the end a student is evaluated from 200 marks total. Result are provided in SPI at the end of every semester

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are available after master for the student for their specific course. Majorly people are opting for higher studies like PhDs and ugc net etc. still jobs are available inside the labs after masters also .

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fee for 10 semesters (including masters ) is 524000. It is divided like this 60000 (1st and 10th semester) and 50500 ( 2nd to 9th semester) It might waver according to other courses and new college updates. People living in hostel pay almost 1-2 lacs every year including mess service and hostel service. It also varies depending upon the type of room you chose (ac or non AC ). 100 % scholarship is provided to students who topped the entrance exam. The first three student are given that scholarship and that is for one year only.

Campus Life

3.5

People from different ethnicities are present so you get a exposure to their culture also. College is also populated with international students so interaction. Events are regularly held 1-3 monthly every school has their own events in which students from other schools can also participate. Sports arena is present for indoor games and outdoor games facilities are also present but are less. Sports week is held once a year. Books of variety of range are present in library which you can borrow. All eventshave their organisation group made.

Admission

Admission process is pretty simple. There is an entrance exam which you can apply through the college website. There is no application fees (if updated please check ) . The syllabus for exam is also pretty simple. It includes general science and general awareness and English. In june-july application forms are released and the if you pass then the counselling starts from August and by kid August your course begins. There are reservation present for OBCs Sc/ST and defence background and PWD also but the reservation is for seat not for cutoff. Exams are easy to moderate.

Faculty

4

We do have a limited number of students as the college dose not take that many students. So there are 50 students in one batch. Coming to faculties each subject has minimum 2 faculties maximum could be 5-6. Faculties are all well educated with PHDs being there minimum qualification. they also share insights about topic other than the course related ones. They are easily approachable and they do provide proper guidance both as a friend and a teacher. They are something to look up to.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The student ratio is a bit higher as mostly the females prefer to do forensics sciences. The male ratio is lesser than the female one. In my class, the ratio of males to female is about two ratios eight. The exam is not as hard and it's on a basic level as compared to that of the Jai and its level but as the University has started itself from the beginning, the level is getting harder.
