- The faculty is highly qualified and good. They have written sufficient research papers and are highly experienced in their respective fields.
- The laboratories have most of the instruments required for hands on practice.
Dislikes
- Extra curricular activities in the college are lesser compared to colleges in Delhi. There are fewer sports and art facilities.
- Campus space is small and has minimal infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The subject itself is very interesting and requires you to study almost all aspect from physics chemistry biology computer to psychology law. It is a very good subject for civil services examinations. The teaching methods are mostly traditional through notes or presentations however the practical exposure is good enough. The library facilities are also good with mostly books available in either offline or online form. The exams occur 4 times per semester. TA-1 25 marks mid semester exams for 50 marks exams TA-2 25 marks (usually in the form of presentations, projects or assignments) and end semester exams (100 marks). All of these are considered for the final grade of each subject and semester. At the end a SPI score is calculated. End semester exams are externally checked while the other three are internal examinations. The difficulty level ranges from medium to difficult.
Placement Experience :
The college placements are different for various courses depending on the demand of course at the time. For example the most placements are for the cybersecurity course in MNCs and other companies. The college also encourages and prepared students for various competitive exams for posts of forensic experts in government labs and agencies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee remains same throughout your 5 year course per semester. It is paid per semester. There is one scholarship on the basis of your merit in the entrance exams for all the campuses of NFSU in India. The total cost of 5 years is 5 lakhs approximately excluding hostel fees. Main internships are provided from 4th year onward which are usually without stipend. However you are free to bring your own internship from outside.
Campus Life :
There aren't many extracurricular activities in the college. An annual fest with various competitions and a sports day. The clubs of the college conduct smaller events from time to time. Life entrepreneurs summit, debates, moot courts, mock parliaments etc. there is a forensic club, a management club and a music club that arranges various events from time to time.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities are limited and are allocated based on your merit in the entrance exams for the first year only. They are expensive and mess food is average. Howveere many Pgs and flats are available for students nearby.
Admission :
12th with science in the only eligibility to apply for the entrance exam and your choice of campus depends on your merit rank. Reservations are there as per the admission guidelines. The admission process is efficient and unbiased solely based on your merit in the entrance exam. The difficulty of this exam is also medium to difficult level of questions.
Faculty :
Average student faculty ratio is 1:45 so there is enough interaction between the students and faculty in every class. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields. Especially the senior professors are very good as mentors in all aspects. The teachers are highly approachable for writing papers review or research papers of if you want to solve any doubts they are always available and if busy they always will come back to you. The academics of the college is definitely above average, however the college is strict in its discipline rules and attendance.
