National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) is a central university established in the year 2008 and situated in Gandhinagar at Gujarat. It was earlier known as Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU). The University has been approved by UGC and accredited with grade A by NAAC. There are three different institutions under the university which offer various courses under the discipline of forensic and sciences. The institution offers PG degree and certification courses in the relevant field. The university offers various PG degree and certificate courses through online, which are provided by the Institute of Forensic Sciences and the regular courses are offered by other two institutes like Institute of Behavioural Sciences and Institute of Research and Development.

It being a government college under Ministry of Home affairs, and also being an institution of national importance grabbed my attention towards it, the major reason was the integrated bba mba course, which helps you to escape the Cat exam for a mba, though they provide you with an option to take an exit after bba.

I applied for RV institute of legal studies (Bangalore) for their course Bsc(hons) forensic science and criminology. I chose NFSU as it is a national college recognised by the government of India which assures me of better placements. I didn't get a rejection as I did not apply for a lot of universities Eligibility for NFSU: must have completed their +2 Exams accepted: NFAT, JEE There is no particular cutoff as NFAT is subject to differences in marks every year but on an average your goal should be atleast 80/100 marks

Being the only respected and awarded forensic Sciences University. It holds some good values with it. And it also comes under minister of health and family welfare. So it is very valueable college as it has national importance

- According to the fee structure, who should have had a good infrastructure because we have paid a lot of amount.
- Most of the faculty Are not permanent, so for this reason, some faculty are not Always Aware about the current happenings in the college.
Admission:
This is the only college I found good because there is just 8 NFSU in India and just 6 campuses have BSc MSc integrated course so i found this college good and it is a central government college and it is the only forensic science university found in india where ministry of home affairs are interlinked. I applied to my nearest home town college i was selected there to but the NFSU result cam late due to which i was studying for 3 weeks and then i cracked the NFAT test after which i was admitted to NFSU. There is an Exam NFAT which we need to crack after which we are held at the counselling part which is done in online mode after which you have to pay the amount within 24 hours of counselling session if you cannot pay the required fee your admission is being cancelled and then the another person gets the chance to get admission.

I got ECE branch in IIIT's but I had more interest towards cybersecurity which is the main reason I preferred this college over IIIT. To get admission in this college you can write Nfat or either take admission through jee .

National Forensics Sciences University is the best in the class for the course of cybersecurity and that is why i selected this university over other colleges. after 1st semester we get to learn many porgramming languages

Admission for this year was through nfat and jee mains both. I specifically selected this college due to the course of cybersecurity and bachelors in cse which is my area of interest since my childhood

- The college is full of opportunity with respect to diversity as people from all over India is part of the college.
- There are various opportunity to attend various seminars and events which might not be happening elsewhere in India.

- The college hostels are having limited seats.
- The fields are unique in itself and with respect to that government jobs are not as much compared to the private sectors so the placement opportunity is highly reduced.

The admission in this course was based on the entrance exam and also I had cleared the state entrance exam (Rank 20) through which I can get admissions in various private as well as government institute, the sole reason for choosing this course and institute was to explore the unique course and facility provided by the university.
