The curriculum of the college is very nicely designed and it covers all the topics, articles and supreme court and high court judgement theories. The curriculum is to the point and fully industry-focused. The faculty members are quite experts in legal terminology. What set National Law University (NLU), Delhi apart is its faculty their expertise in arguments and knowledge about the law and section is undeniably the best probably the university has the best set of faculty.
I have only studied on campus for one semester so I have limited idea. But the course is pretty nice and the professors are amazing. So far, I have really enjoyed studying under Dr. (Prof.) Prasannanshu, Dr. Anup Surendranath, Prof. Mukul Raizada and Dr. Risham Garg.
The course seems easy but time plays an important role here. The main focus should be on current affairs and Legal reasoning. Though maths consist of only 20 questions but it is the one which decided that which NLU you get in.
It is a bit expensive as compared to other colleges. Don't know why that is, but yes they have quite a great amount of money as compared to other key colleges in our country through government. fees is approx 2 lakh for each year comprising every thing.
The fee for the first year is Rs. 1.33 Lakhs and for the following four years, it is Rs. 1.26 Lakhs. The total fee for the entire course sums up to Rs. 6.35 Lakhs. Students who do not find this feasible can avail student educational loans from any banks and there are many scholarships schemes too by the government.
The total fee is Rs. 6.35 Lakhs, the first year fee is Rs. 1.33 Lakhs and the fees for the rest (four years) is 1.26 lakhs. This does not include the hostel. This is feasible as most law college charge so much for the semester even. Educational loans can be availed by the students if they find any difficulties in paying the fee.
My program fee is a lot, it is around INR 1,85,000 in a year including the Hostel fees as well. But the fees are quite reasonable in some other way as the institution is as I have said, one of the best institutions.
Fees is not affordable around 2,00,000 per year. Which makes it one of the most expensive law college in the country. But considering the fact that law colleges are expensive and also NLUD is a tier 1 law college the fee is Ok.
The fee structure which has been implemented at DS NLU is the same for everyone except for the students who are admitted into the institution based on various quotas like NRIs, Vacancies, Upgradation, and the other ones which are applicable at the institution.
My friend is currently pursuing a course at DS NLU so I have a brief idea about the fee structure there. The marks that you scored in your sessional or semester examinations of your respective course would not have any impact on the fees chargeable by the institute. The fee depends on the quota through which you get admission to the institution.
If you belong to the general category and are domicile of India, then the fee which will be charged from you would be the same just like everyone else from your category for a specific course. I believe that a similar structure is followed throughout all the institutions that come under NLU.

There are a total of 80 seats available for the Ph.D. in Law course. Out of these 80 seats, 70 seats are offered through merit via the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). Also, the remaining 10 Seats are based on direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit. These seats are not fixed, seats change every year by the NLU.
