I have chosen this course due to my interest in the food and nutrition sector. Student: faculty ratio is healthy. Professors here are highly qualified with PhDs, post-doctoral research, research papers, etc in their respective fields. This 4-year course has 3 years of Theories and Practical semesters with exams of both at the end and 2-semester internships which are an Experiential learning programme and a Rural awareness work experience program as per the curriculum prescribed by ICAR.
Terms exams are mostly timely. However , they are very tiring and hectic as they are continous without gaps . The difficulty level is between easy to moderate. One can score really well if studied sincerely as the course is not very hard . Rankholders are awarded scholarship of rupees 9000 every semester except ICAR students who recive a scholarship of rupees 18000 .
