Evolving scopes and opportunity Every department has several professors and assistant professors The are highly qualified, and teaches through board and slides Syllabus is broad but easy if studied, 1 term exam every semester
Agriculture is the backbone of our economy and jobs in this line is getting plentiful so it offers a good scope. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:40 and there are enough well-experienced faculties. They have a mid-term exam in the middle of each semester and the final sem exams at the end of the semester.
Course curriculum followed here is updated regularly as per directives of AAU Jorhat and ICAR. It has all the required faculties from concerned departments which offer the courses at different semesters
The course curriculum is based on the curriculum prescribed by the ICAR. It has all the required faculties from various departments like plant pathology, crop physiology, entomology, extension education etc to name a few.
Agriculture is the backbone of India. We need to study nearly 10 subjects with different credit hours in each semester. I wasn't really amused by this cause since school I was familiar with such academic curriculum. It is very interesting to study different subjects attaing different concepts, ideas and knowledge. As a whole to be said, agriculture provides much and most of the knowledge about ancient India, its economy, its present day economic affairs inside and outside the nation. A lot of social knowledge is also being imparted by this course. Coming about faculties of my college, I can find them quite free and frank except a few. Since our college stands with limited seats of 40 students in each class, it is easy to interact with the professors.
This is a state University and like all other state educational institutions, the fee structure is never very expensive. For a course, a student has to bear an amount of nearly Rs. 14000-15000 annually for hostellers (in 2 semesters) excluding the hostel expenses of around Rs. 1500 monthly for mess dues. The mode of payment for the course in online.
It is upto date. Every teacher teaches about the latest syllabus. The students are taught and lead in such a way that we are provided enough industrial exposure. The faculties are also very impressive. It's pretty neat.
