They plan placements training for coding, and quant in your 3rd year 2nd sem for all branches, they say it's mandatory to take this training to be eligible for the placements and they do charge for it. Two types of training: service and product. Placements are nice, you may get really high-paying job if you have a good CGPA and ace the interview.

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester and about 100+ companies come to offer jobs. The highest package offered is Microsoft which is 10L and the Average salary is 3.36L for the System Engineer role. 80% of students usually get placed in the first 8 months and the remaining 10% get placed by end of the course. My plan is to go for an MBA after a prior experience.

From the 6th sem, you are eligible for the campus placements for the best placements you need to maintain 8cgpa every sem and you need to do internships also. After getting this degree I want to do a master's in abroad.
