The university offers 109 programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in Technology, Pharmacy, Science, Management, International Business, Architecture, and Law.
Admission to GITAM is through the university entrance exam GAT (GITAM Admission Test), a computer-based online test that is held across major cities in India. Based on the ranks achieved, admissions are given in the Visakhapatnam campus, Bangalore campus, and Hyderabad campus.
GITAM B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Arch Admission 2024
GITAM offers B.Tech, B.Arch & B.Pharm courses in the field of Engineering and Technology, Architecture & Pharmacy. Candidates need to pass 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry/Biology from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent.
Admission to the B.Tech, B.Pharm courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in GAT(UGTP). Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. program should qualify in NATA / or JEE (Main).

Selection Process: GITAM conducts GAT (UGTP) to provide admission in B.Tech, B.Pharm & B.Arch programmes offered by Vishakhapatnam, Hyderabad & Bengaluru campuses. The ranks secured by the candidates will be announced within 10 days after the completion of the GAT. 25% seats in GAT will be reserved for brilliant students of Karnataka state for admission at Bengaluru campus.
Exemption from GAT: Direct admission will be offered to all central & state board toppers. Such candidates can take admission to any programmes of their choice without taking GAT. In case of Engineering & Pharmacy courses, candidates have to apply on priority basis in the University.
Pattern of GAT (UGTP): This test is of 2-hour duration with three sections with MCQs. Two marks will be allotted for each correct answer & one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. GAT (UGTP) will be conducted in online mode only.

GITAM MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, BCA & B.Com Admission 2024
GITAM offers various undergraduate programs in the streams of Science, Business Administration, Computer Application, Medical Sciences, Nursing and Legal Studies. The duration of all the UG courses is of three years except for the MBBS and B.Sc Nursing programs which are of five years and four years respectively.
For BBA programs, candidates have to qualify for UGAT or GAT examination. Candidates seeking admission to the BCA, B.Sc. BEM programs are required to appear for GAT. Admission into the LL.B. program is based on merit in the Entrance test For admission to the MBBS course, aspiring candidates need to sit for NEET examination conducted by CBSE.

Selection Process for BBA, B.Com & BA: These courses are offered under GITAM Institute of Management (GIM). Admission to all these courses are offered on the basis of student’s performance in Selection Process for BEM, B.Sc & BCA Programmes: GITAM conducts GAT to offer admission in BEM, B.Sc & BCA courses. The university offers a number of Integrated courses in the fields of Science, Engineering & Technology and Legal Studies. All the Integrated courses are of five years except for the B.Tech-M.Tech programme for which the duration is six years.
- Admission to the Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech programme is given to the candidates on the basis of rank obtained in GAT (UGTP)
- Admission to the Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc programme is done on the basis of merit in GAT
- Admission into the B.A. LL.B/B.B.A. LL.B. (hons.) programs is based on merit in the Entrance test

GITAM M.Tech and M.Pharm Admission 2024
At the postgraduate level, GITAM offers M.Tech and M.Pharm degrees with a duration of two years. The M.Tech programme is offered with 16 different specializations and the M.Pharm course is provided under four different specializations.
Admission to the M.Tech and M.Pharm programmes is done through GAT (PGT) & GAT (PGP) respectively.

GITAM also offers Master’s degree programmes in the fields of Business Administration and Computer Application under multiple specializations. The duration of the MBA and MCA courses is two years and three years respectively.
In order to get admission to the MBA programme, candidates have to qualify in GAT/CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/ TS ICET. Admission to the MCA programme is done on the basis of merit in GAT.

GITAM M.Phil & Ph.D Admission 2024
GITAM offers a wide range of doctoral level courses to the aspirants. GITAM also provides Ph.D course on part-time basis for the working professionals who aspire for doctoral programmes. The maximum duration of the Ph.D. programs are four years and two years respectively. Admission to the Ph.D programs is done through written test conducted by the university followed by personal interview.

Selection Process: Admission will be granted on the basis of score in the entrance test followed by interview of shortlisted candidates. Candidates have to produce the below listed documents at the time of final admission:
- Degree certificates or provisional certificates as applicable
- Statement of marks (qualifying examination)
- Migration certificate
- NET, GATE, ICMR, GPAT or SLET score card (if applicable)
- Integrated community & medical certificate
- DOB and No Objection Certificate (NOC)
Written test is of 2-hour duration with MCQs & conventional type questions (60 each) from Research Methodology & Specific subject. Candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in the test to be eligible for the interview. Interview is conducted for 40 marks.
GITAM Ph.D Application form 2024
Candidates can apply online for Ph.D program by visiting the official website of the GITAM on payment of INR 3000 through credit/debit card or net banking.
Exemption from Ph.D Entrance: Candidates belonging to the following categories need not to appear in the written test conducted by the GITAM.
Candidates with valid score in UGC NET, CSIR NET, SLET, GATE, ICMR or GPAT are exempted from the entrance test.
GITAM Distance Education Admission 2024
GITAM also provides Distance education at both UG and PG level. The university demands different eligibility criteria for different courses.The duration period also varies for different courses.
GITAM admits candidates into the distance courses directly on the basis of merit in the pre-qualifying examinations.

- Things i like in my college is the environment which is actually pretty nice and calming it's green everywhere and it has beach nearby so we can drive easily and what not we've got all the amenities here itself and it's pretty convenient
- The range of food here is wholesome you can get whatever you want, everything is available here and you can even order outside or even order in the campus as well they will deliver it you right away
Dislikes
- It can be too strict sometimes and they don't allow all the Vehicles everywhere around the campus, they don't allow triple riding as well
- The hostel security is too tight I mean hosteler can have permission to go outside freely ithout permission from the hostel authorities atleast in the clg working hours

I thought of getting into an nlu but it didn't happen bcoz of my score in clat and I chose a private law college and compared to other law colleges this ne has more experienced faculty and better options like library, moot court and other extra curricular factors as well and this made me to pursue law in this college and the admission process is also very simple they just conduct an qualifying exam and when we pass it we can even get scholarships

I choose this college mainly because of faculty and infrastructure and we have dummy courts to develops our skills. And also there will be internship for each semester. In other there is no these kind of facilities.

I have written a glad exam. I did get accepted at NLU at Delhi, but I couldn't go there due to health issues as well as I have even applied for Gitam. Gitam was my second choice and even got selected at Mahindra, but was not interested going there due to the placement options compared to Gitam. School of Law had great placement options compare to other private institutions.

Our college is providing the library with latest journals and judgements which make a wider distinction among other law colleges. College also conducting moot court competitions which are more popular than NLU competition and very useful for the students who wanted to take advocacy as their profession.

As I've fixed only to this college and I've not consulted other colleges. I like this college and the Opinion was very good on this college. I've not received any rejections from any college and nothing went wrong. In this college there were a few types, through eapcet, jee mains, and by writing admission exam than by the ranks you will get scholarships or you can join the college directly.
