Remarks

There is an entrance exam to get admission to GITAM UNIVERSITY called GAT (GITAM Admission Test). The university offers a course based on your rank on this test. The application form will be available on the University's website, i.e., www.gitam.edu. The application fee will be around 800, and the application last till April.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have been very much interested in computers since my childhood. So I choose the computer science and Engineering course. Usually, the class strength is around 65 members. So the faculty-to-student ratio is 1:65. Most of the faculty qualify for Masters in Technology. Term exams are twice yearly—one for every six months.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 272000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements start from the 7th semester. The number of companies visited is considerable. It includes TCS, Accenture, Infosys, IBM, Tiger Analytics, Deloitte, Amazon, Incture, etc. The highest package is 40 LPA, and the average box is 7lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is 98%. I plan to work in an MNC for two years after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 2,72,000 per year. This fee will continue for the rest of the years until you complete the course. GITAM Provides scholarships based on TS EAMCET, AP EAMCET, IIT JEE Mains, and GAT(GITAM Admission Test).

Campus Life

4.5

Coming to fests, GITAM will have multiple fests every year. For every two months, you have fests and tech fests. The library known as Knowledge Resource Center will contain around 10,000 books, including the digital library section. Classrooms have wifi, projectors, charging ports, Centralised AC, and desks. Student organizations control sports and extracurricular activities on campus. Clubs include GUSAC, Kalakrithi, E-Club, VDC, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The facilities provided in the hostel rooms include fans for every bed, table, chair, reading light, LAN Port and two power supply ports, dustbin, and cupboards with locks. The mess quality is also good. The mess consists of two curries one is north Indian, and one is south Indian. Fried rice, steam rice, dal, sambar, Sweet, chips, fry, salad.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year
