- The campus has open gates, it's not very strict compared to others, and also the food in available in the canteen and hostels, the teachers are understanding and always ready to help.
- The exam system of Gitam makes it easy to score they have 70 marks for internals and 30 marks sem end exam, hence it's easier to score and get high cgpa.
Dislikes
- The campus isn't very big, the facilities available are a little old and few of the classrooms are non ac
- The crowd of the gitam is mixed, 50% is good whereas 50% is bad
Placement Experience:
I don't have much idea regarding the placements as I am just a fresher right now, but as per my seniors the minimum package provided to students is of 5 lakh rupees per annum, and you are required to have a minimum of 7.5 cgpa to be able to sit for placements
Likes
- The campus is occurred by greenery and hostel facilities are good including mess food, but i bit costly for 3 room sharing. The campus is more spaced and we celebrated each and every festivals, event's.
Dislikes
- Our college didn't provide internships for bsc students, classrooms are not well maintained.
Placement Experience:
There are very much less companies visiting our college which also selects only one student from particular course. The average package was 2lakh per year and also there is a need for us to complete higher studies.
Likes
- Nice faculty and they also conduct various hackathons , events etc
- There is full freedom and time given to you and u can use it productivity.
Dislikes
- The fees is little high for the hostel and college if u can afford it it is the best place to study
Placement Experience:
Some of the top recruiters including Tiger Analytics, Accolite, Deloitte, TCS Digital, Keka, Optum, South India Bank and many others have visited the campus and 550 offers were made 90 percent of the students are placed this year .

- I like in gitam mainly the nature , student friendly campus, staff, non teaching staff
- They mainly concentrate about student safety.
Dislikes
- In this college there are many clubs but i mainly dont like about them are we cant find and join a club.
- There are many fests that they conduct eventually.
Placement Experience:
From the last sem students are eligible for the placements . They required atleast 7.5 cgpa . The highest package they offer for our group is 8lpa. My plans after my degree is getting a job or moving on to my higher studies .
Likes
- The infrastructure is huge and pretty cool with a calming environment, the activities are quite fun and has a lot of variety.
- Wide range of club varieties and entries are also quite interesting, so it’s a very nice environment for all the freshers
Dislikes
- The faculty behaviour is quite annoying to be honest , everybody has an opinion on the dressing style especially for medicos and nursing students.
- If you are taking any medical field then sorry you cannot take out time for other clubs and activities.
Placement Experience:
Every year different companies and hospitals managements visits and discuss and take personal interviews and exams . The students gets placement on the basis of interviews and knowledge. Last year 60% students from BSC nursing got placement in Delhi Rajeev gandi cancer hospital.

- Infrastructure is really nice compared to other colleges in vizag.
- You can find many canteens here with reasonable price.
Dislikes
- Some staffs are really rude and unapologetic.
- Sometimes fest and event ticket prices are too high and are not worth the money.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement from 6th semester. This year very few companies visited. The placement opportunities are very limited for UG programme (management) There were less offers made and the percentage of students getting placement was also very less.

- Good quality in campus and outside the campus, Very nice Hostel food with cleanliness and different types of food items
- Currently the infrastructure was great compared to many universities by seeing the classrooms, Hostel rooms, Campus bulidings
Dislikes
- Could improve on Fee structure so that middle class people can afford the seats easily and which helps many students to achieve their dreams
- Teaching is quite ok but they really need to hire experienced or new generation teacher to make them understand better
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students are trained for Campus requirements and from 1st semester every student is trained on the soft skills and character development. Over 3500 are placed in various companies and the highest package is around 45lpa many companies like Accenture, LG, Cognizant, Amazon, Dell, HCL, ICICI Bank, Infosys Nearly 75-70% of students are Placed in Campus and remaining students are going to abroad for higher studies I would like to join in a government sector job as of my interest

- The things I liked are, it has good faculty, good infrastructure and labs were good
- During the placements time gitam had given pretty good training they hired cantaliver organisation to train gitam students
Dislikes
- The things I disliked are it is not much diversified I believe still the regional touch is present

From 6th semester students are eligible for placements, there are many companies like Capgemini, tcs, Accenture, many more came for placements the heights package would be around 35lakhs, the percentage of students getting placed are 20-25% my plans after getting degree is to go abroad

- The campus life is pretty good. The campus is green and well maintained and well equipped as compared to other private colleges in the city.
- The faculty are good with having good understanding of subjects. They are helpful and cooperative.
Dislikes
- The price of food items is canteens is a bit high.
- The hostel rooms are very average keeping in mind what they charge for it.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester as far as I know. As I'm in first year i don't have much knowledge on placements so I can't comment on it. My plans after getting a degree is to get a good yielding job or going abroad for higher studies

Among Hyderabad Central University (HCU) and GITAM University Vizag, it is suggested that you go for Hyderabad Central University.
- Studying at Hyderabad Central University will be a much safer option, considering academics and placements.
- Being a central university and entertaining politically affiliated student organizations on campus catches the attention of national media.
- The faculty is much more interactive here, and are more than willing to stay back after work if guidance is required.
- GITAM has better hostels than Hyderabad Central University.
- HCU has much lower fees compared to GITAM.
