A candidate to be eligible for the M.Sc program:-

Must have a valid JAM score of that respective year
In qualifying degree, the candidates should have passed and secured at least a 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in the case of SC/ST/PwD candidates. The above-mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized University/Institute.
Only the primary mode of evaluation (CGPA or percentage) mentioned in the qualifying degree certificate/mark sheet shall be considered while verifying eligibility. If both CGPA and percentage are mentioned, only CGPA would be considered.

Entrance Exam:

Candidates must qualify for the entrance test - JAM.

Campus is soo beautiful and very large size
Environment is soo cool and well cleaned.

Dislikes

Hostel rooms are soo small and unfurnished also.
Mess food charges are high and sometimes tastes bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academic curriculum is somehow good. I won't say very good. We feel very pressurized during exams .as they don't give us holidays in between exam. So all we have to prepare in one night..so that was so difficult for us but It made us learn how to manage time.

Hostel. Gym . Swimmming pool . Day night canteen . Table tenis tables. Badminton court.
Academic section , multiple departments , nice research facility. Good faculties .

Dislikes

No gap in exams , there should be at least one day gap between two exams .. but most of the time 4 exams get over in a week.
Professor interaction with the students are not well enough to care about students mental health.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nice research facility throughout the course and along with that nit Rourkela hold a good Nirf rank in research. Area of improvement is like they should not teach us the workshops or some of the courses that will never going to help in future studies Exams after every 2 months in 4 month semester. Mid sem and end sem are there. With no gap in between exams .

Unfriendly behavior of faculty and administration
There is no nearby airports that make transportation difficult

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because of my interest in mathematics, I opt for this course. I want to explore about use of maths in ai and machine learning. there is a good student-faculty ratio, there are 2 exams per sem means 4 a year. paper was easy to pass but hard to score a better grade.
