Course is decent however the course of nit rourkela is more harder than the courses of other nits i mean the exams are more harder than other colleges, other than that there are some extra elective courses regardless of any all the branches which can be helpful to increase the gpa and talking about the Mining department, the quantity of machine's are very less and the professors are mostly not good

This course is best as the faculties are best and there is so much opportunities and it is not very difficult. You can do many co-curricular activities in free time. And from my mining department avg package is 13 lakh so no need to worry about package also.

I chose this course because in my college the outcome of this course is very much high i.e. placements and internships facility is very much. 1:23 is the faculty-to-student ratio. majority of the professors have completed there respected degrees from IITs. The majority of the professors teach very well some of them dont. Mid sems and end sems all completed in 4 months.
