the thing i liked about this college is the alumi network.this is one of the most oldest college in india and has its own campus.
the faculty of this college one of the best teachers which help us to crack higher exam like: gate without any coahing institute

Dislikes

the thing i donot like about college is maintenance of hostel rooms and i think here is nothing huge thing that i don't like

Placement Experience:

in hbtu had a decent placement and have good oncampus placements offer. in past year overall college percenage placement is 70-80%. and so many students reject placement offers and go for goverment exam preparation

College infrastructure is good, it's a huge 85 acre campus in East Campus and 225 acres in west Campus.Fulll
Fully Air conditioned library, spacious classroom, 3 Auditoriums, Sports ground, guest house, temple, canteens and other facilities

Dislikes

Poor sports facilities in campus for students

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, students become eligible for placements Companies like Asian,Indigo,Berger,Nerolac Paints, Mankiewicz, MSIL, Yamaha, Hero,Varroc, Uno Minda,SSWL have made a total of 39 offers this year. HIghest package-12lpa (Asian Paints) Average Package- 8 lpa About 90-95% students get placed

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester students becomes eligible for campus placements. Companies visited in my branch (i.e Paint Technology) are Maruti Suzuki, TATA AUTOCOMP , Yamaha, Hero, Bajaj ,TATA MOTORS, Uno minda , Escorts Kubota, Berger paints, Asian paints, Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, Indigo , Sswl , Shalimar Paints, Varroc, etc Placement percentage was 100% My plans after degree is to continue with the organisation in which I got placed.

The most impactful influence for selecting this course is it's uniqueness and placement status. This curriculum provides a practical knowledge for industrial exposure. The course must include some basic concepts as well The frequency and timings are quite good as well as it's difficulty level

Placement is provided for almost all branches more or less. The best placement record stands for paint technology, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering,mass recruitment for cse and it but some good companies such as samsung and other offer over 14 lpa

Faculties are supportive. They focus on study and practical as well. This is good thing
Overall placement of paing technology is also good and all students got placed.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is too complex and need renovation
Promotion of students to other universities is a bit poor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a paint technologist I will appreciate my branch as it gives various opportunities for the placements. Faculties are supportive and they influence us much in order to get good placement. Exams are organised very frequently as semester start and it is quite good and challenging to give those exams.

The cultural and technical fests that are hostel every year

Fee structure. I think it’s a little more as compared to other gfti’s and nit’s
Faculty: the faculties are not so great at hbtu when it comes to interacting and clearing doubts.

The things i liked about hbtu kanpur is the cast alumni network the college provides which is helpful for future

Dislikes

There is no bus facility in between the east and the west campus of the hbtu kanpur though it ks written in the brochure.
The west Campus of the hbtu kanpur is literally a jungle in which the boys hostels are located.

Placement Experience:

The placement session starts in the end of the 3rd year is completed untill the mid of 4th year. Companies like Samsung, tcs, mahindra, bajaj, maruti suzuki, Asian paints often visit campus recruiting at least 2-3 individuals or students. The highest in the batch of 2021 was around 64 lac in the Amazon and around 18 lacs in Josh international in the year 2023. The average is around 8-8.5 lacs in college. Almost all the students can be placed by the end of the placement session but some students go for higher education or in government sector. My plan after getting a degree is get placed in good company were I can use my skills for betterment.

From 6 th to 7th semester onwards a candidate become eligible to placement as it all depends on his or her skills. There are various good companies that visit hbtu each year including Amazon, hero, maruti, asian, indigo, havels, byjus etc. The rate of percent placement various from branch to branch,as my paint technology has 100 percent placement of last 4 years. Cs has 95 ..IT has 90 etc My plan after getting degree is to be in good job.
