- 1 year course QS World Ranking 6 QS Course Ranking 8 Opportunity to delve into a career not that prominent in India,
- The best thing about my university is the course itself. It is more than what I expected and has really helped me learn ,many new things. There are also a lot of eating joints, bars inside the university to chill and relax if you are having a tough day.
- Dislikes:
- It has a very small campus compared to my undergraduate and no accommodation by the university for post-graduates. While the university provides a lot of support for career development, placements could really help students.

I have had a great experience overall. I found a great research project I wanted to work on along with a variety of courses that helped me upskill myself and grow in many domains of my field. The only drawback is since it is a 1 year course everything happens really quickly and you need to be prepared all the time.

- I chose this because of the course structure and this course aligns with my interest and goals. I loved the experience and working culture at Imperial College London. I wanted to pursue a broad and research course and this was the major factor for me to choose this course and university amongs many others.,
- The most awesome experience was my research projects and library facility. The environment just made me work at my best potential and successfully complete the projects. No one spoon feeds there. Motivation is required to work and stay focused. My university provided me the required motivation and taught me some research skills that I can utilise anywhere in the world now.
- Dislikes:
- One important thing that I would want Imperial to offer to Master students is that 24*7 permit in labs, because I sometimes wanted to work late at nights. However, it requires presence of a senior lab member which is always not possible.

My overall experience was really good and I have learnt a lot of new things in a new country. I would say this was once in a life-time opportunity for me. Just the accomplishment of able to complete a master's degree from such a reputed university (ranked 6th in the world) is a dream for me while also gaining lot of research skills and experience.

- Imperial is top 6 in the world for university ranking and the group I joined is a highly reputed group in the world for my research area.,
- Professional attitude of professors, staff and fellow students of Imperial are excellent. Everyone is respected and included in the imperial community.,
- There are plenty of clubs and societies in Imperial, students can join any of them according to their choice, If they don't find one of their choice -Imperial provides all support to start a new club/society.
- Dislikes:
- Imperial College London is in the heart of the London. Living and accommodation costs are vey high here.,
- This is something that is not in the hands of university team but there is separate student financial team here that supports students in need of any financial assistance.,
- Also, London cannot be described better without mentioning about its road traffic.
Scholarship:
I was awarded the Presidential scholarship at imperial college London which pays complete tuition fee and 24000£/year as stipend. For this scholarship I had to submit a research proposal. After my interview my supervisor suggest that I have a good profile and should apply for Presidential scholarship. Then after discussing with my supervisor, I made a research proposal and submitted.
So far my experience at Imperial was very pleasant. The Professor was very welcoming and guided me to resources to find a good accommodation. I meet with the Professor every week to update the status of the research at the direction it has to take in the future. It was overwhelming with a lot of new changes for me as this was my first international trip from India.
Great reputation, alumni network, employee relations, quality of education, quality of peers, etc

This was a natural extension of my role at Standard Chartered bank in the wealth space. I was from a marketing background working in finance and therefore needed a formal ground to progress in the field of wealth and finance. This degree was essential for my next step.
Scholarship:
I did not apply for a scholarship but there is a department scholarship that can opted for. Students applying to Imperial are automatically considered for scholarships but these are mostly for EU students. So it is better to apply for scholarships on your own if you are an overseas student.
Imperial College London is ranked 8th globally. It is one of the most prestigious colleges and has high end research facilities. The MRes Cancer Biology is the most popular course and very competitive in terms of a research degree. I took up this course cause they offered 2 research projects and they have PhD studentships that are offered from the MRC (fully funded on home level with stipend).

I chose this university for the research facilities, reputation, and postgraduate success. In addition, I love London and was excited to be able to continue living there after growing up.

I grew up in British Education, and Imperial is ranked #2 in the UK for Computer Science. Furthermore, Imperial's employability ratings for Computing post-degree are extremely high, and London is a great city to live in. I also had a friend study at Imperial before me so from his experience I knew I'd have a good time.
