  • Dislikes:
  • The faculty is not up to the marks.,
  • Seminar tutors are highly undereducated for the amount of responsibility that they have.,
  • No placement guarantee culture in the UK is very different.,
  • The university accommodation charges are extremely high.

The university is ranked quite decently in the QS world ranking. Birmingham is also the UK's 2nd biggest city which provides for a lot of employment options. Education wise it was pretty decent. But the amount of exposure I have received is good. The university has a lot of facilities that being an Indian I wasn’t familiar with. They provided end to end help.

  • Too many students in the same classroom although they helped freshers additionally there was unhealthy competition from experienced classmates.

It was really good, I got to experience a mixture of cultures and also I felt very well supported to get adjusted with the overall course or country.

  • Dislikes:
  • I will not say I dislike anything about the university, but the timing of the university may affect your research if you want to work in flexible timings.,
  • The time of the university is 8 am to 6 pm. And if you are comfortable working at night (which researchers do), then this might be affect your research.

My overall experience has been great till now. My research is going up to the mark, and I am enjoying my stay here along with various experience associated with social events.
