Course Curriculum Overview :

Admission to Bachelor courses is based on AIEEE and MHTCET. Post graduate admissions are based on GATE/GPAT score. For PhD courses admission is based on NET/GATE/GPAT followed by ICT entrance exam and interview.

Placement Experience :

ICT will be come in top colleges in Mumbai which offer the chemical and related branch. The placement is good and 90% students got the job through the college.Companies like Reliance, Exxon Mobil, UOP, RB, Godrej, Galaxy Surfactant, L'Oréal, Saintgobain, IndianOil, BP, Thermax, Zydus, Johnson and Johnson, Pedilite, 3M, JohnDeer, Asian Paints, Nerolac, Berger, Shell, Baxter, Glenmark, HUL and many other companies come to recruit ICTians.

College Events :

ICT celebrate many events through out the year yet I will list few of them. Yuvum, Mazar, Vortex, SportsSaga. Yuvum is ICT hostels cultural and sports event. Manzar is ICTs Cultural event. Vortex is ICTs technical event. And SportsSaga is ICTs inter college/university sports event. All these events have number of sub events. ICT organises number of technical conferences and workshops throughout the year. There are very fruitful lecture series in ICT. TEDx. Etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure is less than IIT B and other engineering institute in Maharashtra. There are lots of fellowship available to meritorious students. Also you can take benefit of GOV freeship/scholarship

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are number of scholarships available in ICT. Some gov, some by industry some by trust. TEQIP has special fellowship program in ICT, ICT alumni association provides loans to ICT students without any interest. Single Girl Child Fellowship, Fellowship By Crompton Greaves, BRNS, BARC, DST, DAE, CSIR, BAARC, UGC, ICMR, are agencies provide fellowship to ICT.

Campus Life :

Once you got into your favorite branch or field of studies, you find interest in the things you do. For me ICT was a platform to explore and broadcast my knowledge. So it's not that you have studies all the Year, you have so many things to do, so much to explore that ICT makes your each day count!

Hostel Facilities :

I will rate hostel facilities 9/10. Hostel is equipped with best mess facilities. All mess are run by students on no loss no profit basis. There are total 4 Hostels in ICT 2 Girl hostels and 2 boys hostels. Hostel have its own laundry facilities on each floor. Gym facility and Indoor sports room, reading room etc

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission :

Admission is based on GATE/GPAT score followed by ICT entrance exam and interview. There is exam around June and forms for admission is available after April end every year. Admission process is online. Students have to register themselves on www.ictmumbai.edu.in website. All admission process including fees comes under online process.

Faculty :

ICT has very good and removed faculty. ICT has history of many Padma, Padma Bhushan and Padmashree Awardee faculty and scientists. Many of faculties have recognized worldwide for their research work.The Institute has produced many first-generation entrepreneurs and academics. Civilian honors awarded to alumni include 3 Padma Vibhushan, 8 Padma Bhushan and 10 Padma Shri awardees. Only two Indian engineers - Raghunath Mashelkar and Man Mohan Sharma - have been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS), both of whom are alumni of ICT.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides placements for students, bring avg companies to college drive. Students are eligible for it once they in 3rd year. Companies visited to our college are Infosys, tech mahindra, cisco, etc they gave avg package of 3.5lac per year to 8.5lacs per year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it a demanding and has a bright future I cant say the ratio but I can tell there an about 28boys and 13 girls something and the teaching method as quit modern and understanding after every 6 months there are term exams and it's not so difficult if your studied but it was fun because the teacher is quite good.

Best Deemed University for Research in Defense Sector

Remarks:

Best college for those who wanted to persue their Masters and PhD in Defense topics which is need of the time. Also you have access to all DRSO labs in India for research purpose. Also MOU is signed with different IIT's for research oriented activities.

Best research institute

Remarks:

IIT Bombay is one of the best institutions in India. As per my best experience, it has the best organizational structure with very well managed. Remarks:

The institute being a Autonomous institute fully owned by the state Govt of Maharasthra, has a Board of Management nominated by the Govt. of Maharashtra. The Chairman of the BoM is a renowned industrialist Mr. Sunil Raythaththa from Jalna and is having a vision of taking this institute at another height. The other members are also industrialist and are playing a vital role in leading this institute on a right technical path of progress.

Remarks:

Good remark is IITB is the best campus to stay and build a career fulfill the dreams and enjoy the student life to the fullest. Bad remark is Research quality should be improved as many of the faculties does not actively participate in building the research career. Faculties should also be evaluated for the quality of teaching and research. Placement for research scholars or industrial collaboration are very poor especially in basic science fields like biology,chemistry,physics and there is a need of interdisciplinary programmes to improve the quality of education and research.
