Remarks :

The management of the college is very process oriented. We have our advantage of being under the IIT umbrella. The infrastructure of the college is very good. Students get to drive each and every committee and have their say right from the mess committee

Entrance Preview :

I gave CAT in 2013 and scored 98.2 percentile. I did not appear for other exams like SNAP, NMAT, IIFT and XAT and focused only on CAT. I chose DMS because of the location advantage. I am a resident of Delhi and this college has the 2nd best RoI after FMS. I interacted with the seniors of this college and I found very good companies visiting the campus for summers and final placements. The infrastructure is the best. These parameters were important for me while finally zeroing on this institute.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very exhaustive and students are always in the midst of things. HBR case studies are discussed in almost all the lectures in all the subjects. There are courses for every stream. The basket of electives is quite big to choose your area of interest. I went for Marketing and Operations. All the important and relevant courses are covered in this institute. The faculty is highly experienced and all of them are PhDs.

Internships Opportunities :

Like every B school my college provides internship too during summers in the second year. We have a lot of companies coming to DMS every year. Our placement report is published on our website too. The average is stipend is very attractive with key profiles being offered. The overall experience of the internship program is amazing. Students get international internship opportunities too.

Placement Experience :

The placement scenario is such that every year 100% of the batch gets placed. Some students start a venture of their own too. The highest accepted salary was about 20 lpa and the average a little above 16 lpa. The profiles offered are very same as that of premiere B schools in the country.

College Events :

Parivartan - the annual business cum cultural festival, Building India Inc - annual business summit, Conclaves on every specialization - Horizon (HR), COnfluence (marketing & finance), Op'Era (operations), Strategia (analytics and consulting), Rendezvous - central IIT fest, Literati - literature fest. The footfall is in thousands for all the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is only INR 4 lacs for 2 year MBA program. It is one the lowest in the country for a top class management education. The hostel and mess facilities are little above average. The fees for mess is 16,500 per semester. Hostel fees is included in the semester fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

All the students in IIT are eligible for the SBI scholar loan scheme and the bank inside the campus provides that loan anyone who wishes to avail it. Moreover there plenty of scholarship and awards for the top performers of the programs. Students win scholarships through various corporate competitions too.

Campus Life :

The campus life is vibrant. The gender ratio is improving with every incoming batch.More and more female students are taking up management program.

Hostel Facilities :

Each hostel is equipped with world class gym and indoor games facility. Apart from that we have football and cricket grounds in the campus. There are badminton courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, cricket practice pitches, TT tables, squash court an

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of DMS is strong and it is evident during the alumni meets we have across the country. We also leverage the network of central IIT who are more than willing to help. The alums are very supportive and keep visiting the campus from time to time to be part of the events and activities.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the colleges is very nice after the internship gap after that we have semester 3 and while we are in semester 3 the companies start approaching us domain wise so if one is into marketing they will have so many options and is there into operations we have very few companies so it's a thing in the college but if you are someone who isn't place the college will take care all though they provide enough companies like in internship in my batch we had around 40 companies and I feel like in the placement they also help a lot

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a MBA student. I wanted to do it for my own father's company. But I've faced a lot of issues in my 1 sem. Also i would like to tell about the teacher of QT because of her i got a back in my exams. Improvements are surely required because most of the students fail in QT. I've asked from my seniors too there is no management for this subject. Also the exam level was high because we didn't knew what even the syllabus was

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for final placements in third semester and summer placements in the first semester itself. We have many big names here in the campus JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, AON, ICICI Bank, Atomberg, Hindalco, Deloitte, KPIT, Samsung, etc. Almost all the students get placed here. I'd the percentage is above 90. The highest placement offered was 26LAC+ and the average stood at 14lacs. I am currently intern at a company via the college placements and am working towards getting a PPO. If I get one, I plan on staying in the same company.

Placement Experience:

College offers its students placements which makes them give a loud shout-out. Although the placement process is hair-raising, the results are out of the league when compared to the rest of B-schools. Please check the placement report in detail from our website, because my words won't be able to do justice to the results we have.

Remarks:

My experience with the USMS IPU institute was pretty exceptional. I would definitely recommend this institute for whosoever is looking to pursue a master's degree in the region. Admissions are on the basis of the entrance exam organized by the university, itself. Infrastructure is world-class and everyone is pretty supportive here.
