Remarks :

The admission process comprised of the CAT exam, from where people got shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round. Approx a percentile of 97.5+ in CAT for a General Category student is required to get a call for the Interview, though a lot of other factors come into consideration while calculating the Cumulative Score (CS).

Course Curriculum Overview :

A good faculty-student ratio of 1:4 is present on the campus, along with a variety of courses, taught by some top-notch Professors, in a Case-Study and application-based Pedagogy, which gives a better understanding of concepts.

Internships Opportunities :

Summer Internships are provided by companies encompassing a variety of fields like Sales & Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Operations, Product Management, and so on. With a lot of famous brands and many new startups also coming in for such opportunities, there is a very good mix of such!

Placement Experience :

The Placement Committee is there which looks into the Placements, and there are many legacy recruiters as well as new Recruiters, who have been added to the list, which offer both Summer Internship and Final Placement opportunities. There is a 100% placement record in both Summers and Finals.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for two years are just below 10 lakhs, which makes it a very economical college, in terms of ROI. Also, there is financial assistance provided by different banks, and Campus jobs as Research Assistants to Professors on different Projects or papers are available, as per their needs.

Campus Life :

There are around 10 Committees, which are always working in Unison, along with 3 Clubs related to Marketing, Finance, Operations. The Annual Fest, called Parivartan happens during February, which is one of the biggest Management Fests in North India.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are really spacious, since it is a part of IIT Delhi, with affordable food and quality meals available. Also, the accommodation services are really good and cheap, with all the basic facilities like Charging points, a Study desk and so on.

Interview Experience :

There was a Personal Interview round for the selection process, which was a smooth experience, where the Panelists asked questions related to my previous work experience, how Management comes into play, and some generic HR questions.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for final placements in third semester and summer placements in the first semester itself. We have many big names here in the campus JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, AON, ICICI Bank, Atomberg, Hindalco, Deloitte, KPIT, Samsung, etc. Almost all the students get placed here. I'd the percentage is above 90. The highest placement offered was 26LAC+ and the average stood at 14lacs. I am currently intern at a company via the college placements and am working towards getting a PPO. If I get one, I plan on staying in the same company.

Remarks:

My experience with the USMS IPU institute was pretty exceptional. I would definitely recommend this institute for whosoever is looking to pursue a master's degree in the region. Admissions are on the basis of the entrance exam organized by the university, itself. Infrastructure is world-class and everyone is pretty supportive here.
