What Students Say

Likes

The aspect i like about my college is it's toilet facilities, infrastructure are all very developed, the campus have fields for playing, moot courts for law students, agriculture field for agriculture students, all equipment required for Students
I like the fact that the faculties from my course i dont know about others are very willing to teach students and are well experienced in their respective subjects, they are all highly qualified professor
They organise many seminars and vocational programs for students to learn and the course i applied has a very bright future and the scope for this course will never go down in future

Dislikes

The thing i disliked about my university is that it doesn't have any hostel facilities and placements
Some of the teachers are not very approachable
Shortage of equipments and faculties for some subjects

The course as i have aaid earlier it is very relevant, the scope for this course will never go down in present or in future since the majority of our country depends on agriculture sector Though there might be competition in the future, the course has scopes in bank, business, civil service etc...

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 51000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise the fees for my course i.e bsc agriculture is 51000 rs Tuition fee - 18500 Registration fee - 2000 rs Exam fee - 4000 rs And other charges - 1000 rs From state government you will get a scholarship of 51,000 for this course

Campus Life

The campus life is good here many extracurricular activities like study trip and other activities are organised and departmental picnics are held every year and also the sports week are organised every year which is very grand and there is one canteen, libarary, and mnay conference halls and auditorium

Admission

I chose this college over others because i heard the infrastructure and other other facilities of thsi college is very good comapred to other colleges and no, i have not applied for other universities

Faculty

The faculties are all very well experienced in teaching and are approachable except for some who are not very approachable, i liked the my horticulture subject teacher's teaching style, As for exams there are 3 exams held per semester, one internal exam, one practical and one main theory exam. The difficulty of the exam depends on the student, Few students fail to clear the exam The course is very relevant in present and in future

Night Life

After the classes are over wyou can play cricket, football in the campus ground, or play badminton in the evening or walk in the campus ground and there are many restaurants and cafes near the university where you can visit

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because my family suggested and based on the scope level I selected the course. The curriculum of the course provide by the university doesn't provide any idea for the real- world applications. Because curriculum was basic . We went to the lab maybe approximately 20 times including my absence. Our field work was good . We did lots of field work our mentor also guided us very well. Main Examination was semester exams i.e per semester. Including few sessional test ,practicals and reports according to which we were evaluated.

My Review of Himalayan University

Course Curriculum Overview:

College was fairly new when i was studying so there wasn't any lab or computer facilities but now it has improved. Many practical and study excercise are given by the teachers. Rawe process could have been better as the HOD was little late at everyone and no financial support was guven by the college. They should atleast try to accomodate students and help them in some other ways. Exams are taken in their time from internal exams to semester every exam is conducted in time.

Best University Ever

Remarks:

I can give positive remarks but don't know about any negative. I think our College is best then others. Faculties are like our friends, the environment is beautiful, infrastructures of College is excellent.
